If I dont get Evans Curry or if the Knicks came to their senses and took Thabeet if he fell--I don't see the value at 8. The caveat is if Rubio fell--I would have to expect they would take him.

After that IMO I would go after both Chicago and Minnesota with my lottery pick and Jefferies for their later picks. I cannopt lose in that scenario because I will will get two players who could be BETTER than the guy picked at 8 and gain 7mm in capo room for 2010.

I would be very happy with a Flynn selection... I think he's going to make a good-to-great pro regardless of who coached him, and is a great, great point... I understand the apprehension but I really think the kid has had many great MSG moments already

Trading back, if we don't get the player we want, could be a good strategy. But we don't need to be limited to teams with two picks. We might be able to find a team with a pick in the teens that's willing to give us their first round pick this year and their first round pick next year for our pick at eight. If we pick a team that we think won't do so well next year, that could be a very productive strategy.

not sure where Carpool, is that in DC?... my boy owns Blue Water Grille in Centreville so that's an option if ur close to there... i'll ask my other friend if he knows any good sports bars... maybe he'll come out too.

I might not be able to get to Centreville Thursday but that might be cool to check it out for the GMen opener

And just so you know Carpool is on Fairfax in Arlington... get off at the 66 Ballston exit and just head straight. Carpool's five city blocks or so from there on the right at Fairfax and N Quincy. The place is pretty tight. Sports bar with all the bar games including shuffleboard, and because it's in a strange location, good looking girls that live nearby come to snag a rich, single lawyer or contractor or something. Big fan of their wings. It's also off the orange line (Virginia Square-GMU) and a $10 cab ride to Georgetown... It's close to The Four Courts in Courthouse, which if you get there right before midnight and start talking to a girl it is as close a thing to guaranteed intercourse as there is in Northern VA

i think i like jennings over flynn but my opinion is only based on a couple of youtube videos so it doesnt mean much.........
from what i saw jennings looks quick, strong, and athletic for his size
kinda of reminds me of a chris paul...
