THE 10th COMMANDMENT-(coveting)

Exodus 20:17 "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's."

As long as people stop talking about Brook Lopez we're in the clear.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

THE 10th COMMANDMENT-(coveting)

Exodus 20:17 "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor a multitude of athletes who thy team doth not really haveth a desire for, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's."

As long as people stop talking about Brook Lopez we're in the clear.

I used the NBA version of the Bible.

I don't see Jordan Hill as having a warrior mentality at all. I see a guy who has bad hands, questionable IQ/heart & not nearly the skill level MDA requires. I think he would be a significant downgrade vs. DLee.

Isn't one of the commandments in there:

"Thou shalt not touch superstars, lest ye be stricken with fouls"?

BINGO --- my 2nd least favorite lottery type pick next to Lawson.

He is very questionable in my mind -- AZ showed almost zero passion or growth with this guy leading the team the past 2 years.

NO THANK YOU.

I will be very disappointed with a Jordan Hill selection. I've said it many times before and I'll say it again, I am not a fan of any Pac10 big man and Hill is no different. No thanks.

I'll be anxious to see if Lopez keeps developing, he probably will. Frye had a great first year too.

With that said, I don't think Hill/Lopez are anything alike.

Coveting only is a sin if you would actually act on those feelings. If we were to covet Curry but during draft time choose Hill over him, then coveting Curry means nothing(Though Curry & Hill aren't anyone else property but you get the drift). Same as coveting another mans property such as his house or wife. You could be in love with another mans wife(Those are feelings you can't control), you could admire & desire another mans house, but it wouldn't be a sin unless you planned on acting on those feelings to take it from the other man. As soon as you decide to act on those feelings then it is already a sin before you even actually commit it.

Briggs
The Knicks want either Curry or Rubio---everything else is horse manure--they want Curry or Rubio over Griffin let alone Hill.

I don't know about that, There was a comment last week or 2 weeks ago that said unless Hill falls to them they would take Curry, this isn't a new.

Since this draft is so PG why would taking a PG early be a smart thing. If a draft is loaded with PGs don't you look for a PG later in the draft getting back value? I would take the shot at Hill then try and buy or trade for a later draft pick and target speedy guys like Lawson, Collison, Beabouis.

A very early one, before the one on killing, I think.

Frankly, I don't see what he brings that Heyvelt doesn't (who could be had in early rd 2). We already have Chris Wilcox, don't draft another.

he is a way more tenacious rebounder & more physical player than Heyvelt dude, that's not even close... Heyvelt brings perimeter shooting that Hill does not... Hill is a much better athlete & runs the floor better... they're really nothing alike other than the fact both can block shots.

i would be very happy if we ended up with Jordan Hill... i've always said he could replace D Lee's production on this team & also brings much better defense & terrific shotblocking to the table... no he doesn't have Lee's hands or passing ability, but Lee doesn't have his interior toughness or his athleticism either... we need a physical presence down low on this team, someone who's not afraid of contact & will be an intimidator in the paint... i think Jordan Hill can bring that to the table.

my first choice is you know who but i would be very satisfied if we got Jordan Hill... i think he's gonna be a terrific player.

Hill is not a good defender and not really a post player either. I don't want Channing Frye Part II here.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

he's about way better defender than David Lee dude... he blocks shots & isn't afraid to draw contact down low while playing defense... he doesn't play the jazz hands D, he's not afraid in the paint... & what are u talking about he's not a post player? have u watched him play? he's nothing at all like Channing Frye... Frye's as soft as they come, pretty slow footed, not a great athlete & hangs out on the midrange & perimeter... Hill is gonna be banging in the paint going up for rebounds & blocking shots, he's a lunch pale guy in the classic sense.

Yeah my bad. I meant Chris Wilcox. I still don't want him. Playing better D than Lee isn't that big a feat. I guess I'd take Hill over someone like Mullens or Blair though.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I certainly dont see "tenacious" when I see this guy play. Looks like a guy who got by as a college player due to size & hops. But a streak of laziness, bad hands & low bball IQ will make him Chris Wilcox II.
