From what I can see-this guy has all of the *talent* and just needs *time* to put it all together and get stronger. When you draft a guy --to me it's not the first year Im most concerned with--it's what I will get in the prime years.

I would have no problem grabbing another pick to try and land Mullens. Really im hoping Hill falls to us at #8 and we could grab a late rd PG instead.

Mullens has talent and potential but thats also not allways enough, so if he was our 2nd first rd pick then it would be worth the shot. To make him our pick though is to risky though.

I think Obryant will have a higher draft position? One is african american one is not?

But in all seriousness Mullens has a thick full athletic frame with all of the skills--was the number 1 rated high school player in the uSA and was rookie of the year in the Big ten.

The other is a skinny porous skilled player who came from a lower level college and may have had greatly inflated stats and stature from playing mid major basketball and was poorly scouted. I still think Obryant should be able to do somethings in the NBA but Mullens has a chance to be a really good big man.

you can tell mullens will be a solid pro. i would have no problem taking him if curry, evans, holiday, derozan, rubio and harden were off the board.

not sure about his defense, but his offense would clearly be a fit in this system.

Always for drafting a big. It's odd his value isn't higher in such a big deprived draft. We need to acquire a 2nd pick between 12 and 15 cause it does look like Chicago has him slated and Frankly I'll be a bit jealous. They get the #1 pick last year and then the #1 rated high school player this year.

I know D'Antoni isn't into the traditional tall centers but this cat can run and jump and shoot. He'd fit this system pretty well, not sure how he will be defensively though. That is where I'm at a crossroads. Not sure he has that fire defensively, and we really need that...

You know what I just don't get here --- Ohio State just produced 2 quality NBA centers, Oden & Koufos. Oden was the #1 pick overall and even though Utah hasn't given him the PT yet because of their logjam up front, Koufos is highly skilled & can definitely play... These are guys who were highly thought of, comfortable & productive in the Buckeye program playing for head coach Thad Matta. I don't ever recall hearing any problems between these two and the coach. They thrived under him as a matter of fact. Now all of a sudden this kid Mullens comes along, has a sub-par year where legit questions concerning his drive to get better & earn additional PT and a starting role are conveniently pushed aside by camp Mullens and his supporters in favor of an endless string of excuses. Now all of a sudden it's Thad Matta's fault and Matta doesn't know how to develop big men and his system doesn't cater to post players?? Have I got that right? Come on.. You mean to tell me his down year never had anything to do with the fact that he may not have worked hard enough in practice - a persistent rumor throughout the season btw? And now the kid has the onions to start comparing himself to A'mare and The Ticket in pre-draft interviews? Wow. That's all I have to say...

I would like to commend Briggs on posting these Youtube videos properly. This is a much greater feat then anything Mullens could pull off.
I just hope that people will like me

I will take full credit for teaching Briggs how to do it as well.

yeah, i would love to take a project big like mullens, but you need another pick to do it, no way he's a number 8 pick right now with the other players available
