I wish. I'm actually sacrificing the getting drunk for the time being. I started losing weight a couple of weeks ago and am off to a nice start, so I don't want to set myself back. I deleted all of my online accounts like facebook and myspace so I can have absolutely nothing from keeping me from going to the gym, and I'm quite happy I did that.

Yeah, I deleted those sites because of a lunatic ex... but the unplanned benefit was that I probably free up two hours a day. I enjoy reading and I have to say I probably have read 10-15 more books that would have been possible with facebook and myspace since deleting them in December

It is better to be well-read than widely-read.

The last four books I read were authored by Jack Kerouac, Ernest Hemmingway, Comrmac McCarthy, and F Scott Fitzgerald... so I'd say what's better than being well-read is well-read and widely-read... anyway, I was such a slacker in high school and undergrad that now I feel like I have catching up to do

great choices.

currently reading michael chabon, who's a kick. recent reads were robertson davies - awesome writer, richard ford, lionel shriver ("we have to talk about kevin” will destroy you for a little while).

Dude, I'm totally adding those guys to my queue. Which of Robertson Davies's books would you recommend? This may seem like a random question but have you ever read Khalil Gibran's "The Prophet"? I'm asking because if you have I'd like you to recommend stuff that's similar as that poem is my favorite literary work (although I read it when I still had facebook)

i just started facebooking last week.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
