I would almost labvel this a second round draft because it does run deep in the so-called sleeper dept--if you look back at the moch we did-- some really good players went from 25 on--players that have a chance at being better than some of the top guys.

Briggs, can I get your thoughts on Lester Hudson?

I know he's had his problems, but it seems like he's corrected them and he played great for Tenn-Martin. I think he can have a Nate Robinson like role in the NBA. Curious what you think.

Hasnt he tried to come out like 8 times before? He looks like a wild player.

Assuming no Rubio or Harden:

1) Jennings
2) Curry
3) Evans
4) Holiday
5) Mullens

after curry, it's very hard for me to decide how to rank guys. i wouldn't flip if we went for the UK fan fav DeRozan, but my guess is the Knicks won't pick and keep him anyway. Hill is another guy I'd take if he's there, but I'm not sure if the Knicks would keep him before the draft is over.

Holiday scares me a bit, but you figure he has a good chance to help us in two areas we need, defense and size at guard, still with potential upside.

Mullens is the biggest risk pick, but i'd consider taking him if all of the others are off the board given our need for bigs, and how i could see him do well with d'antoni.

I was down on Evans a bit, because i don't see him as much of a pg, but he could be a nice combo guard for us.

I put Jennings over Curry, very slightly just because I am willing to risk it. This guy has real potential to be a star, and his ability to get into passing lanes, and dish so nicely is really huge, as well as the humbling experience he had this year, which lowered his stock. this is not the same case as Holiday, because I think if Jennings was in college he would have lit up the league. No way does he get benched in college, nor do i see him getting the same kind of treatment from d'antoni who was willing to play gallo when healthy. yes, his jumper is a risk, but I'd love to see him on the Knicks. However, no way do I see the Knicks taking Jennings if Curry is around, but I think we should do it if Curry is gone.

Flynn, i'm not so super high on. I dunno I feel like it's very hard to decide. Teague, Henderson and Maynor are cool, but I don't see us taking them that high.

I really hope we can get an extra pick or two. we really need to maximize our chances in this kind of draft. problem is other teams may be thinking the same thing.

Hmm, I'm not too sure about that. I don't think he has, but if he has, maybe the feeling is that another year or two of college has matured him? He hasn't had any problems since he's been there and he's got big conference talent.
