Jamal should continue his carrier in China or Europe.
He will be great bbal popularizator. Not all players have talent to win; but very few have talent to entertain. Jamal has it... I mean second... [Edited by - arkrud on 06-12-2009 12:20 AM] "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet

Posted by franco12:Posted by TMS:Posted by franco12: who knows... maybe CLE? i've always thought he would be a nice fit on their team & would take some of the scoring pressure off Lebron's shoulders... Lebron is the orchestrator there anyway & Jamal is a clear upgrade over Delonte West or Boobie Gibson. After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Opt out, or we're sending your ass to the team that had the best regular season record & the league MVP. Bring it on! Nelson and everyone there at G State must be suffering from collective Alzheimer's. |

Posted by TMS: Cleveland got rid of Larry Hughes because he took too many shots and made few and that upset LeBron. In fact Hughes owned that team and LeBron was second fiddle. Why would they want to repeat that situation with Crawford who is essentially Larry Hughes without defense and a slightly nicer personality? Crawford has proven he has no idea how to be second fiddle to anyone. When he tries he's largely useless making his presence on a team pointless. When he's being the #1 option he kills you because he is just a poor shooter with no real other skills to speak of. Could Jamal be good in Cleveland alongside LeBron and maybe finally mature enough to understand he's not the top player on a team? Maybe but unlikely. I'd venture to guess it'd be the same problem he's had everywhere: He is NOT a good basketball player and he HURTS teams' chances of winning. It's really not that complicated with Jamal. In fact, once he played for Golden State, you really saw just how average he is and just how poorly he plays the game. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

Posted by TMS: Nothing that's not truthful. I know you like him, and we're NOT doing this again LOL, but there is a mountain of factual evidence that shows he is simply not a good basketball player. Those that say different merely have their liking of him as their proof that he's good or a mix tape showing all his good shots in one string of video. It is what it is, he's not a good player, I'm happy he's gone, and never want him back. It's nothing personal, he's just not a good player, and was always part of the problem here, something he shared with every other one of Isiah's "Franchise Cornerstones". It took Golden State, from management to the fans, a whopping month to realize this. That's why he is on the move yet again. One day when Jamal is an older player, is more mature, and has ditched his and-1 show, he could potentially join a team like say today's Spurs - whoever that may be in the future - and give them a boost off the bench. Even that, given his attitude, is unlikely. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!
