And relying on the GPS can backfire on you too. For example, what if you decide to take a road trip and all of a sudden, you lose your signal. You're screwed.

GPSs suck.

On the topic of GPS, it really came in handy when my band was on tour. Not only for finding the clubs in all the various cities that we stopped off in, but also because it allowed us to look up local diners to grab food after shows. It's a tool. Just like a map is a tool. I don't get the GPS hate.

no gps hate, just hate on over-relliance on gps.

just like no hate on medicine, but hate on prescribing stimulants to 5 year olds or putting people on 20 different anti-depressants. ridiculous. weakness.

I said you'll be bigger than Van Halen, Led Zeppelin and Metallica combined. I didn't say you'd reach Allanfan status.

I am 100% looking for a GPS on the next phone I get. Walking around the city with a GPS is the way to go- you never need to worry about finding a good place to eat or drink.

I want one of the android phones- supposedly new versions of the G1 are coming out in the next month or 2.
