I still think the league is soft. That is my complaint. The games are entertaining but the calls by the officials are weak.

i have a bigger problem with refereeing consistency. either be soft or hard, but not both.

the superstar treatment is also horrible for the league. the walks, phantom fouls, etc., that the 'stars' regularly get are a disgrace to the game.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Well, human error is going to happen so I dont expect perfection but at least we havent seen 27 fouls in the fourth quarter or players being suspended for putting their big toe on the court after one of their players was thrown around like a rag doll--- you know, obvious cheating. I'll live with what I've seen this year.

Watching this Orlando series has to be some of the worst officiating have ever seen. It's amazing that Orlando has even some games.

Funny thing is while the league is doing whatever it can to market a Kobe vs. LeBron championship, a Denver vs. Orlando series would probably be the most entertaining combination possible.

what blows my mind is the officiating has remained constant since the Donaghy scandal... hasn't gotten better, hasn't gotten worse, it's remained equally terrible.

Exactly. I would love to see two solid teams go at it compared to two individual players. The Orlando series should have been a sweep.

The last 2 whistles of regulation in that Orlando/Cleveland game may be the worst officiating in the history of the NBA... and that is saying alot

I think the NBA dropped the ball in its marketing again, just like they did when they called everyone with a fancy dribble a franchise player. They have up and coming superstars on all four teams. They have young, exciting and developing teams like Portland and Chicago in clear view. But for some reason they can't get past the Bird vs. magic hey day. Or the Jordan vs. the league era. They continue to focus on two players and two teams. Now if both of those teams lose, they will also lose the casual fan in their ratings. Why not market Carmelo and Dwight just as hard? Why not focus on the team aspect like the NBa claims to prefer?
I just hope that people will like me
