Jrue Holiday is my sleeper pick for the Knicks at 8... all this talk about Stephen Curry could be a smokescreen... but then again, all the talk about Frye, Chandler & Gallo ended up to be spot on so maybe it isn't.

another sleeper pick would be James Harden maybe falling to us at #8 (if Derozan, Jennings, Hill & Evans all get picked in the top 8), & if he does i think MDA will pick him (tho i'm not crazy about him either)

I don't think it's a smokescreen. I think they love Curry. But it wouldn't surprise me to see Curry off the board when we pick. In that case I think Jrue is a good choice. He's very strong defensively and seems to have what it takes to develop into a good offensive pg.

i'd be highly surprised to see Curry picked in the top 7, but it wouldn't be out of the question... i'm not all that crazy about Jrue's game but he is long & has size at the PG position... dunno if he's got the quickness to be another Rajon Rondo but i wouldn't be closed off to the idea of taking him if the guys i like are already off the table, but only if we traded down to do so... taking Holiday at 8 is too high IMHO.

Im not sure if he counts as a sleeper at this point, seeing as how there is a whole board discussion about it, but my pick has got to be Johnny Flynn.

Daye's offensive ability is ten times more advanced than Jeffries. Also, Daye is waaaay more fluid an athlete than Frye ever was or will be.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

The guy I wanted last year late was Courtney Lee and he was bringing the ball up late in the game last night. I think Mills could be that kind of player and I hope the Knicks will trade down and take Mullens and Mills

Patty mills is a legit sleeper. He also played really well in the olympics...people seem to forget about him. I saw him play head to head against Curry this past season. His team destroyed bum ass Davidson but they guarded each other and went at it nicely and were pretty much equal.

Chase Budinger. I think he will end up being at least the eighth best player in the draft and I think he would do well under D'.

Jermaine Taylor is the next Rodney Stuckey, but he's gonna be later than 8.

I can see us taking Lawson at 8.

Mullens... is that what you want us to say Briggs? Fine... Mullens is the sleeper pick at number eight.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

One good guard who would definitely be available and who would be a good fit for the club would be Gerald Henderson. He has a nice blend of athleticism, shooting, basketball intelligence, defense and finishing. He is nba ready and he will be there when we pick.

Henderson reminds me of Daquan Cook who I really like. I see Lawson and Mullens-no joke-as sleepers
for the knicks.

I would be happy with Flynn/Maynor/Mills/Mullens/Lawson/Curry

If you asked me months ago I would have said Maynor would have been my choice, but then again Mills and Lawson are incredibly fast, then again Flynn can explode on any given night, then again Curry has an NBA ready jumper (rare indeed), and Mullens may actually turn into something down the road.

Right now I'm favoring Flynn... I know he isn't considered a pure point and a pure point I really do believe is necessary to be a championship contender, but I do think the team needs someone to take the important shots at the end of games and I think Flynn can do that. Not to mention, I think he'll have developed trade value by the time the team is ready to contend.

I agree with your assessment... I can see Budinger filling the role Grant Hill occupied for MDA. budinger has been a projected lotto pick for pretty much his entire NCAAA career to boot. The Knicks should be drafting BPA, regardless of position, but I don't think he's so much better than the other positions of need though... so I can't endorse him, but find no fault for anyone wanting him, because I see him having a decade-long NBA career

The guy would have to show he can defend at 2 & 3. He would really have to show the Knicks something in his workouts. Are the Knicks even going to have him in for a look?

I don't think the team takes him because the team has too many perimeter players and too few points and bigs. I think Budinger will be good but not great and the team is better served by filling need...

i like Budinger too... i doubt he's gonna be a star or anything but he'll be a very nice role player for some team, something like a Matt Harpring w/more finesse & athletic ability... if we didn't already have Gallo & Chandler i would really wanna trade down to take a guy like him.

King 1 you kind of get it--but I would go with Teague over Mills. Problem is he likely jacked his stock ten fold in the last 24 hours. He's better than Curry hands down imho. He will be a Tony Parker-like talent. Mullens should be ranked ahead of guys like Jordan Hill. The guy has as much upside as anyone in the draft. You cannot teach the combination of size and athletic ability plus he can shoot.
