JW.. I think Donnie worded it oddly, I had to read it twice myself.

Personally, you know how I feel. I'm down with Curry, but I'm still hoping for Rubio or Jennings first and foremost...

I did a double take on that one too, but saw the double negatives.

Walsh seems to be open to looking at a lot of prospects. Wonder if he is BSing us for some reason,

Orange, you don't seem to be a fan of Curry.

i'm a fan of curry, he'll do just fine in the nba i think...but this draft doesn't have many standouts and we are not in a position to get any of the few that are in the pool...so it's really a crap shoot almost.

i hope that curry turns into the pointguard that some people think he is, or can be.

PG, SG, C and a star are the biggest needs. There are plenty of talented PGs in this draft, and usually the exact opposite is true. I would like for the Knicks to plan to draft a point, and select a different position if there's a player the team thinks will be an impact player falls for some unforeseen reason.

Saying that only a few of the players fit the offense is odd to me. That sounds like Curry, Flynn, Jennings and Mullens are high on his list. Maybe Teague and Maynor too.

He says he wants someone who plays defense too. I hope that eliminates Curry and Teague.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I think Donnie has a ton of options...

As far as point guards, Rubio is the prize....Curry is the safe pick at 8....but how much better are these guys than Flynn and Jennings?

Flynn is gonna go mid first round....I would rather trade down with a team that picks him and see if I can get another good player along with him.

Then there is the jennings factor.....what if Jennings and Curry are on the board when the Knicks pick? The guys are polar opposites but they both are great passers in their own way. Jennings is faster with a better handle, more creative. Curry is more fundemental less creative/athletic but has a rep for clutch play and his shooting touch.

FML, but what if Rubio falls because of his buyout? What the hell do we do then?

Rubio's not falling. Team's only on the hook for 500K. He'll make that back for them with marketing dollars in a week.

Lots of teams will trade down if they're looking PG. I think Indiana trades down, because why take a PG there unless you're 100% sold on one guy and not the others.

get the prospect who u best think can grow into a star player... look at all the teams in the playoffs right now, they got studs that carry them down the stretch of games... we ain't got JACK! no more drafting for role players that fill a need... u can get those types of players via MLE or trades if u need to.

I don't like position of need. It's what exactly we need. We need a PG who can distribute and be pass first and defend. We need all positions to put a commitment on defense. We need a shotblocker whether it's at Center or Power Foward. We need guys who can consistently shoot at a high percentage and guys who know how to make the right pass. We need a go to scorer.

In other words, we need everything.

Well said.
