Captain Awesome is the best name I've heard yet.

The only different between "Mike" and "Tyreke" is that "Mike" is commonly used. Other than that, there's nothing weird about it or bad.

I DO, however, want to know how people come up with the names. Demarzo? lol

People should have a requirement to complete their last names for their kids. For example, Mr and Mrs Stein should be required to call their little girl Phylis. The Schitts should have to call their kids Jack, Bull and Tough. Chastity Beltz, Justin Credible and Pat McGroin are other examples.

On another note, legend has it that Texas millionaire sisters Ima, Ura and Hoosa Hogg successfully sued their parents for psychological damages and slander.

I'm going to name my kid Maximus because of Gladiator... when he goes to school he can just say his name is Max. Works out for everyone.

I went to school with a Willie Head and his dad was named Richard... no joke.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Missinformed. Full name is actually Mike Ock Issaf Irehose. The Second. Junior. My dad had balance issues.

There was a kid in my school whose last name was Butts. Her moms first name was Fannie. Does that fit your requirement?

No Lie...My Mother-in-Law's given name is (( drum roll...please)) Florida Beach.
Thank God she had nickname that everybody called her by from Day 1...parents can be so friggin cruel

My kids moms friends nthame is Nosmo......guess what her last name is? Story is her moms just had her and didn't have a name and the nurses were harrassing her about naming the baby before they left for the nursery. She saw a "no smoking" sign and the rest was history. Smdh...

Much different than a name like Tyreke. Tyreke actually means something in another language. Much like john which means toilet.

There's a lot of teenage mothers and fathers out there and they don't always look for deep meaning behind what they name their children. Heck a name that just sounds good to them is enough of a reason. Also some name there kids as a tribute to two parents and they combine names. You also get a lot of Phonetic spelling of names that shows they may not have known how the actual name was spelled. ie Anfernee

Hey it's all harmless so who cares.
