Very good story on billups. We long for some leadership.

What really made me post this story was the fact that our young players don't really have a superstar like kg or a real pg for nate lee and chandler to look up to. Allan houston has taken Chandler under his wing and out of the three of them he has taken massive steps in his improvement.

I honestly thought IT and lenny wilks was gonna turn steph into a bonifide superstar, turn him into a true leader. But for obvious reasons it didn't happen.

We lack leadership in a big way on this team and I don't see walsh and Mike making that a priority. They just want a talanted team with no disipline.

respectfully...i disagree with your asinine assessment of donnie & mike's priorities.

these two are successful at what they do at the highest level and i'm pretty sure somewhere along the line they realized the value of leadership on a winning squad. leadership is a natural priority, something that doesn't have to be stated. its safe to say that mike and donnie realize there is a leadership void and they are probably working on this as we speak.

Having the humility to LISTEN and LEARN is what made his career. By the time many hit the NBA they are thinking they are the man and are playing for the big contract.

Yup. It would seem that there are too many times when an old dog can't teach a new dog old tricks these days.
