It's an overstatement to say NO ONE on the team can play D. I think also that with no defensive anchor in the middle it makes it much worse than it should be for the perimeter defenders. I saw a LOT of effort on D, but teams know that if they keep attacking aggressively enough the Knicks just don't have any shotblocking to keep players from attacking the basket.

Teams look a LOT better on D when you have an eraser in the paint. Anyway at the point I think Curry can't be any worse than a snail like Mark Jackson or even Mike Bibby. Heck guys blow by Nash every night, but since he's so great on the other end people tend to overlook that.

That isn't close to being true. Chandler and Hughes are very good defensive players. Duhon, Jeffries, Harrington and Q aren't bad.

Harrington's not nearly as bad as Lee is on D... he'll actually throw his body in to draw a charge every once in a while at the very least... i've hardly ever seen D Lee do that cuz he's too busy positioning himself for a possible rebound.

Our entire team defense will improve once we get a competent center to patrol the lane. Like someone else said, teams know to just keep attacking the basket on us because we have no shot-blocker. We get a shot-blocker, he will not only make some stops, he will also convince teams not to drive as much, which will help our overall defense.

We should draft Curry and then use Lee to bring in a shot-blocker.
