I don't mean to harp on the Malone - Griffin stuff. It just drives me crazy because I don't believe the hype. He just doesn't have near ideal size and seems too muscle bound to me to ever develop a smooth jumper.
I think he has a high floor, meaning he won't be a bust, but I don't think he has a high ceiling.
He could be some kind of modern day Anthony Mason which would be a nice player, but to say that he'll be a sure fire All-Star or a better Malone is just a "wow" statement to me.

He's about the same size as Beasley, who's being moved back to the three this coming season.
What are you going to do with Griffin at the 3? You'd better have a specific type of team to put him on. Some team with 4,5's that play on the perimeter would be great. Dallas, Utah, Golden State... great fit.
But hey, we're talking about the number one pick here folks... and I think this guy has to find the right fit. Did LeBron or Dwight Howard need the right fit? No.
He'll be solid, but I would bet anything that he won't be spectacular. If I was drafting number one and I'm Sacto, or Washington I'm not sure what I would do there. All of the top players have question marks attached to them, but I would be tempted to look at Thabeet, Evans and Rubio ahead of Griffin.
Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
