it ain't like he shot up some juice, got some tats, moved to Alabama and phuched his dog!

Naw, nuthing like that!

Im sure the pressure of a new contract in NYC would bring out the best in him.

he has recovered from drug addiction...

this is very significant

and yes, sets a good example of the many who suffer from this and want to better their lives, and children, because it affects them either as users or with loved ones that may have a chemical addiction.

I hope that he continues to be clean- he can be a good example for kids to look at, despite his somewhat strange appearance.

So far he has been a great human redemption story. He should stay in Denver, though, for his own sake, since he seems to have found a home there and a coach who is able to connect with him. We could definitely use a guy like him on the Knicks, but why should he leave a team and a town where he has the potential to become a BB folk hero in Denver if he can put in another 5 years like this one for the Nuggets.

Hilatious! I can never come up with comebacks that will match what Nalod says. So I'll take the, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" approach!

I just can't see him being a good example for kids. It's good that he's clean, and I hope he stays clean. And I'm NOT just judging his character either. I have no clue what he's like. However, in order to get clean, you have to have been on drugs, and no matter what, kids are going to look at THAT. Lets stick to Tim Duncan, Grant Hill and Steve Nash and even LeBron to being the good influences, even though I don't believe any of these people should be influences. But they are, so lets stick to those guys, and lets just look at Birdman as a guy to root for.

I'd take him on the Knicks. However, if he's found his peace in Denver, then for his sake, he should stick there.

He's a good player--they got a nice bargain there. Personally I want Steve Nash---Im really sck of scking and I want them to do what they have to do to get Nash. 9 years of being awful is too long. Personally I hope we get Blake Griffin and Steve Nash:) If we got lucky in the draft and were able to add both--why cant we be a big player in the east next year?

No one is for sure but I believe it is cocaine based. The rumors were crack or meth. Former associates of his accused him of being a meth head who also experimented with crack. One former friend made accussations about Anderson's desire to set up his own meth lab for personal use. Also his estranged mother hinted that it was meth. It was a serious drug because of his penalty. He was banned and then reinstated. Smoking weed and even steroids only brings suspensions and fines under the CBA after testing postive for the first time.
