I had a good friend growing up who was a big dude and nobody messed with.

He got into a scuffle which was typical and got hit upside the head with a blunt instrument and the boy was "Special Ed" for the rest of his life. The dude had a head trauma and was never right after that. Slower speach, nervous tick, and blinking all the time.

Dudes get hit in the movies all the time, get up after being knocked out and run10 miles and kick ass. Phuch that crap, it aint'real!

yeah, i think we all know that stuff ain't real, but sometimes u make the mistake of not stopping to think of the consequences of your actions... a couple dudes i knew from back in the day have gotten shot & killed over nonsense BS conflicts, & for what? BS pride & bravado... when u'r sober & thinking straight it's easier to weigh the possible consequences before u act on something... luckily for myself i've been able to avoid serious injuries other than being jumped at a party by a buncha Chinese punks who came down to my HS in SI from Queens to stir up trouble... only suffered a mild concussion, bruises, black & blues & a swollen face, but it could easily have been worse... in that instance i didn't go looking for trouble, trouble found me... sometimes u can't avoid these situations... i remember waking up in the hospital with the bottom of some dude's Reebok sneakers imprinted on my forehead from when he stomped on my face... lucky for me that was the worst of it.

I hear you, I got mugged once and it would have been ok except I started mouthing off and the three dudes did not like my attidude. Over three dollars in my wallet was all it was. I was really pissed off this was happening to me. They guy punched me so hard in my sternum, then wound up and got me in the cheek and I went down. Just praying he would not kick me!

My ego was bruised, said the black eye was on the basketball court and kept the sternum thing quiet. That actually hurt the worst!

lol... i got mugged once by some Vietnamese gangsta dudes when me & my 2 friends were cutting outta HS & went to shoot some pool 1 day... as soon as we walked through the door all we see were like 20 angry dudes staring at us & 1 scared looking counter person... so we decided it was time to find a different pool hall... soon as we get outside we see them following us... i look to my right & all i see is my 2 friends booking out in the other direction... so i go to follow them & get cut off by the angry dudes, so i run in the other direction right across a busy Roosevelt Blvd. w/o even looking for oncoming cars... i was strictly thinking "Get me far away from these guys" & that's it.

i managed to lose the guys that were following me but as i was walking around looking for my 2 friends, i bumped into 2 of the dudes that were chasing after me... they corner me & ended up snatching my chain & going through my pockets... luckily i had no money on me that day, not even a dollar, but i lost my silver lighter when it fell outta my pocket while they were chasing me... then dude pulls out my car keys & asks where my car is parked... i'm like "i didn't drive here"... (dude was trippin' if he thought i was gonna tell him where my car was parked!)

then the other dude is going through my wallet & finds some pictures & asks me who everyone is in the pictures, like why the F would u even care??? they ask me if i was Korean & what i was doing hanging around in their hangout... obviously these dudes have had run ins w/Korean gangs or something, so i tell them i'm Chinese instead (lol)... so they let me go on my way & sorta like u nothing was bruised but my ego, but all this crap happened in broad daylight in front of people walking by & no one did or said sheit... good ol' NYC, where everyone minds their own.

i ended up walking back to check to see if my friends were waiting for me around where we parked my car, & i see them & a few of their boys walking towards the pool hall looking for me... we ended up going back to 1 of their houses & burning a few bones & chilled the rest of the day... LOL! memories.

last time i got into a scuffle at a bar/club was in Thailand oddly enough... i was chillin w/my boys at a Go Go bar in Bangkok, & my friend accidentally bumped the table of this dude that was sitting behind us & knocked over his beer... he apologized but the guy cursed at my boy... the beer didn't even spill on him so i overreacted & pushed the dude in the face... he got up & i grabbed the dude's throat, but my friends broke it up & no punches were thrown... i felt bad for it after cuz dude was by himself & i was drunk... the girls & bar mgr came over to ease the tensions... native Thai people seem to hate conflict of any kind & would rather smile rather than get angry or upset over some uncomfortable situation... being as tho we were all there to have fun i ended up buying the dude a beer for the one that spilled & he ended up partying w/us after at another bar that night... found out the next day from 1 of the girls that the dude was a Thai boxing instructor... LOL! guess it was my lucky night.

Having a badge doesnt make you a cop. Bus drivers, crossing guards, EMS technicians all have badges. NYPD are not allowed to work off duty at an establishment that serves alcohol without exceptions.

I do not mess with clubs unless it's for a super special occasion. On my 22nd birthday a group of friends and I went to the China Club. This guy offered to buy me a drink and at the time I didn't think anything of it because I had a very little to drink. My friends and I were dancing at the time.

At this point in my life I had never even been drunk before. But after taking a few sips of the drink the guy had bought me and all I can remember is that I couldn't walk and my friends literally had to carry my to the car. I woke up the next morning with one of the worst hang-overs in my life asleep in a chair. I nearly slept through practice the next morning and nearly threw up at least a few times during practice.

Looking back on it I'm super lucky that my friends were mostly sober and watching my back because I was in no shape to fend for myself.

After this experience I didn't drink alcohol for over 3 years. That's why I mostly stay out of clubs these days too crowded and a higher incidence of shady people. But whatever the setting I always try to keep a eye on my drink and only drink in the company of friends.

what I do remember was someone talked some ****, I took it one step further, my boy tried to break it up, then the dude got aggressive with my boy, then all hell broke loose. My boy used to throw Catholic Schoolgirl parties there and put this Mexican Restaurant on the map... school shuttle bus was right there and this was at that restaurant... the owner walked us through the backdoor and had the cops go after the other guy.

NEVER accept drinks from strangers unless u see the bartender actually pour the drink... there's no telling what's in it... could be laced w/some date rape drug, there's lotsa shady cats out there... good thing u had ur peeps looking out for u that night bitty.
