i have to say Birdman.

We can use his energy, hustle, and SHOTBLOCKING

I like the idea of Birdman because of his mobility and defensive presence. My only hold-up is the fact that his performance is off the bench... that is, I wonder what his numbers would be like against elite starters. But if he can be had for the MLE, whether a starter or a backup, he is probably worth it. (Assuming he has conquered his personal problems).

I like the idea of bargain hunting with the MLE for a veteran player who might be willing to take less to be part of the transformation in NY. Its a fairy tale concept, but I would throw it out there to Nash (if he opts out), Odom, Kidd, Artest...
You know I gonna spin wit it

birdman, in watching him versus dallas, birdman has a weak brain. he makes too many facial expressions and craves attention. he is like another nate robinson. no place on our squad, no place.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Birdman will command more than the MLE
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I don't think he can get that much - with his history of drug problems no team would give it to him.
