derrick rose defense is quite poor. alot of pg's put up monster games against him.

I was also correct when I said "I don't care if Renaldo Balkman is a god, with our two picks we should have taken two PGs and hope one of them works out."

I would have taken Marcus Williams so the execution of my 100% correct plan would have failed. But a better GM than me, probably would have taken Rondo.

For my money, in this system I take Duhon. We need a PG that can not only run the offense but can also shoot the ball consistently. I just think at the moment Duhon is the best PG to ever play the game. He's even better than me, which for me is hard to admit, but alas I have to accept the reality of the situation. Fact of the matter is why is this even a discussion? Duhon is a back-up and Rondo is a future star.

dude, relax... i'm bustin' your chops... u suggesting we don't know **** about basketball if we thought Duhon was better than Rondo earlier in the season when he was putting up some pretty impressive numbers is a little over the top, no?... i dunno why you got such a chip on your shoulder about it... no one was getting on your case for thinking Rondo was better.

Boston's done???? They're probably going to make it to the 2nd round WITHOUT KG! Throw a healthy KG in and this team would compete with any team.

Done winning chips...KG is going downhill so is Ray Allen. They're good enough to compete now, but they are just going to get worse, certainly not better.

Hmmm. Rondo's development has made me more optimistic about their chances. I think they have FOUR all-star level starters and one very good role player.

Or this probably is an overly simplified way of viewing things but I do think that the improvement in Rondo's game from their championship squad is larger than the combined decreases due to aging that we'll see from Ray, KG, and Pierce. These three have each aged a little but not a lot and the team was playing as well as anyone this year before the KG injury. If I were a Celtics fan, I would NOT be worried (assuming KG returns healthy).

With the 23rd pick the Knicks select Renaldo Balkman!

As always thanks Isiah. We didn't need a defensive minded pg that could run an offense. Then the ******* takes mardy collins. We could have such a great team now, Noah included at center.

Come on man; tons of GMs passed on Rondo--the majority of the GMs in the league did.
