Old school ball boys...It's the way the game used to be played...Guys used to talk smack on the court all the time...It got them up for games...Jordan talked a lot of smack...Bird talked a lot of smack..Oak and Barkley talked lots of smack...X Man used to do it...It was widely excepted...The game has changed a lot...People just don't do it anymore..Frankly I kind of liked it...I don't like when players on opposing teams are lovey dovey on the court...I used to like when my team took it to the opponent like the 90s Knicks did..

But you guys are all wrong about Chris Paul...This was reported last year where he invited opposing players out to dinner and chummy with them while they are in town and took it to them while they are on the court...Players understand...U guys are misreading the entire situation...

Because of this you don't want Paul on the Knicks...Silly rabbit...

I love Chris Paul and would certainly welcome him on the Knicks any day of the freaking year.

But let's be real here, Paul is borderline a dirty player. Do I have to mention again the fact that he was suspended from an ACC tourney game for punching Julius Hodge in the nuts? I mean cmon, there's no excuse for that...

Btw, trash talking is apart of the game...nothing wrong with it.....its the douche baggery.....yelling at the top of your lungs random tough guy stuff is not apart of the game.....that's apart of the street. Last time I checked they weren't playing in the streets.

Spree the game has been played like this for many years...I think you are over reacting a bit because it's not the norm in today's game...Chris is a good guy and not a dirty guy...A piece was done on exactly what you are talking about last year...The guy is a competitive SOB...Other players recognize that and don't take offense...People would say the same about KG...What you see on the court is not necessarily who a person is...U have to separate the two...I think ur crazy not wanting CP on the Knicks because of that...Crazy..

I am a huge paul fan, but he comes off as a bit dirty, even in college he hit julius hodge right in the nuts, I mean punched him in the nuts. For a man, that is as low as you can get..... chris has a history of hitting below the belt so to speak..

with that said. I would still take him in a heartbeat.. but it is, what it is..

didn't say he was a dirty player...i said he was fugazy, meaning he talks tough but isn't built like that. Plenty of guys talk trash and it can get out of hand but since I'm talking about Chris Paul...yeah he is a douche bag. The stuff i see him saying is over the top. Even Spike Lee said so.

Unless a guy like Paul or Wade has committed a felony, I would do anything to have them on this team. I am not going to say "no I'm not happy we got these guys because they're 'douchebags'". This is not Marbury here. Chris Paul is an amazing player. I would heavily support him in orange and blue.

I agree with Eny on this. And with Hol. The game has always been about talking big. Mentally frustrating your opponent is a part of the sport and theres nothing wrong with that. But if you're gonna be the big man, be the big man. Dont talk shyt and then flop and whine like Manu on weed. X-man, Jordan et al never fell over like they were hit by a truck.

Its ok to be a smack-talker and its also ok to be a dirty flopping kind of player. Theres room for both kinds in the NBA. But you cant be both. Thats what makes CP3 fugazy.

Id still take him in a flash tho.

Larry Bird was one of the biggest trash talkers in the league but he didn't hide like Paul. He said what he said and took anything the Pistons wanted to throw at him without bitching about it. Paul talks a lot of crap, flops and then wants to play the innocent role. He's a classic punk that won't back up his tough talk. Sorry Barkley there was a reason why his teammates weren't defending him in that last game.

I can't cheer for a dude like Chris Paul...

I'm gonna throw Zach Randolph into the convo....AS A KNICK he was a model citizen....he brought it everynight and for some reason a lot of guys wanted him gone. Now he is a idiot for what he's been involved with in the past and for his recient dwi....but as a Knick he was really really good as D'antoni said. You didn't hear a peep from Zach on or off the court. That's a fact.

But because chris paul definately is the best point guard in the league you turn your head to his douche bagarisms??? I can't do it man...absolutely can't.

Also, when Kobe was younger like before the cheating on his wife incident, Kobe was a douche....now he's seemed to be more mature or at least playing the game and challenging opponents and competing....instead of being a "look at me, I'm better that Jordan cuz I make it look good" mofo....

Damn, thats something i'd like to see , Childs vs Kobe. I was so pissed at childs for eluminating us from the playoffs after he got traded to Toronto. Man, that really sucked. As for CP3, fugazy is a relative term. The dude wants to win above everything else, he trash talks, he punches balls, he flops. I like that and yes, i want him on the knicks. Unless he has some sort of injury or whatever i think he'll definately be on a championship team someday. And i'd like the Knicks to be that team.

To me that just proves his doucherisms....the dude he punched wasn't even doing anything...and he ran the length of the court and punched him just to be in it. There was no point to him doing that.....on top of that.....he didn't even Knock him out. As big and athletic as he is he shoulda knocked that fat dude out.....thank God he didn't though.
