I hear ya. Remember his contract year? He looked so promising then. Poor guy.

Thats got to be the biggest coincidence in sports...how players always have their greatest years when its a contract year.

Damps is the gold standard example. He got like 70 mill didnt he?

That Oakley thread keeps rearing its ugly head. Damps sucks as a player, but there is nothing wrong with what he said. What he's doing is playing mental warfare with Parker. Distract his thoughts and attempt to intimidate him. Every time he goes to the hole, in the back of his mind he's going to think about getting his snot box rocked. Its a mind fluck. This is the type of stuff you do in the playoffs.

A Jedi Mind trick...you can hit him without actually hitting him.

I agree, it could be a tactic. But a couple things. By making it public Dampier has put himself in a position where he actually can't level him because he will be ejected if he does anything even close to being out of bounds. Also 6 foot PG's that lead the league in scoring in the paint normally are not afraid of contact(Even if they are French pansies). As a matter of fact they are more used to contact and getting hammered than the big guys that think they are tough because they push each other around when going for rebounds. If you want to get in a little guys head, just lay him out, talk and attempted humiliation is already part of their world.

There's a lot of it that goes around. Where you kill a guy and he says "the next time I'm going to do this........." It happens so often that as a small guy myself, I wouldn't pay it any mind. If he didn't do it while I was killing him, he's not going to do it the next time either. And if he does there is a pretty good chance that I will retaliate in a way that I don't get a foul and then he whines even more. And in the end he will be out of his game and not me. That's how most little guys, especially at that level, that's the way they think. Isiah, Tim Hardaway, Gary Payton, Parker, Chris Paul etc. These aren't guys yu are going to take out of their games becasue you threatened them.
I just hope that people will like me

Yea I don't know the total, but he made around 11 or 12 million this year. This is why I am worried about David Lee, he poured his heart out this year for the contract.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
