From what I read, his defense was not so good in the games he just got through playing in- he got pushed around down low. Sounds like he needs more seasoning, although he seems like an intriguing prospect based on what I read about him and the clips I have seen of him.

Palladin - you make an excellent point with regard to Motiejunas and his defense. I read the NBAdraft.net reports about his effort not being always up to his potential so there is hope. If defense is based on effort it would seem that he can learn to ratchet his intensity up to an acceptable NBA level.

Personally, I dig the fact Montiejunas is a borderline seven footer because I'm tired of the Knicks playing shrimpy front lines. That is one major reason Gallinari makes me smile. The Mayor at 6'8 is a plus because he can jump out of the gym and defend four positions.

Why can't the Knicks find a suitable tutor for Saar Sene?
