TKF you can really be densed at times man, rolling my eyes shaking my head. What is it that you don't get man? I am speaking of what matters at MSG not what you or I want. How can you not get it. All the knicks vets have been to the playoffs so they would rathrer have played those guys instead when a playoff berth was reachable.

MSG speaks just like ya boy HERM EDWARDS
"WE PLAY TO WIN THE GAME FOOL!

playa who are you trying to fool? We all know what MSG is trying to do, but you are defending them man, and threads like this just expose your hypocricy!! These veterans are not going to win anything if, who on the knicks are winners? which veterans? Houston played in a finals on a more talented knicks team. Spoon? Othella? Who playa? Again you are FOS!!!! that is Full Of Sh*T!!!!

Who said that we have all these winners on our team??? DEKE , Houston, vanhorn, anderson, eisley, ward KT have all been far into the playoffs before Spoon has too. My question to you is this, if management has a healthy roster + Frank playing well, even with Dice back and this team starts to jell, how can you justify playing Lampe and Sweetney?? I would think they would get all the vets to get use to playing with each other for"TEAM CHEMISTRY" instead of trying to make green apples(rookies) red in the winter.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

martin, with the Knicks luck of late, I predict McDyess will play well enough this year to get a contract extension, then will blow out his knee for good in the home opener next year.

It always seems to be that management has an excuse to draw out this soap opera: "Just wait until we have all our guys healthy. Just wait until the team gets its chemistry together. Just wait until coach has time to implement his plan. Just wait until Milos isn't afraid to play for one of the worst teams in the NBA."

That dangle of hope is the "Knick Terrorism" I speak.

We support and fund the futile hope.

Already we know Vujanic is going to visit for 10 days, play summerball.

Berman is an idiot. His take was that Vujanic was coming, but now might not. That is headline fodder. shame shame. His agent is trying to up his price. Pay the man his 2 mil, he blows money left an right anyway.

playa that is a bunch of If's, If dice is healthy, if the starters jell, if the roster is healthy, well if all those "ifs" come to be playa then you have a point, until then you don't have ****!! I am talking about now, stop trying to twist, I am talking about sweetney and lampe rotting on the bench while, Anderson, spoon and othella come in and commit their commedy of errors. come on man, how stupid can you be!!

Those clowns make too much money to sit every game. Some games maybe they should sit, but come on man they make too much "JACK" to be sitting.

Steve Smith made alot of money but he rode the pine on the SA bench. Same with Deke in NJ. I'm sure there were a lot other big money players that were not getting any run. Its just that the team made a bold move and made a decision. If the Knicks were smart they would make a move with Spoon,Eisley and Anderson. Choose one and tell them you are riding the pine.

Vmart , they(SA, NJ) were competing for titles not just making the playoffs.

Vmart, to be fair, Chaney has been keeping Spoon off the floor as punishment for him being out of shape. This guy was supposed to be our big sixth-man type guy a couple seasons ago. He's paid 5mil a year, and he's not getting minutes. Anderson is playing because we have no SF to back up KVH. If we had a quick SF who could play some D and shoot the ball, Anderson's minutes would dwindle.

Eisley? That's another story entirely. Chaney and Layden consider Eisley some kind of sleeping giant. I say his only talent was being Stockton's backup, so everyone assumed he would become half as good. Ain't gonna happen.

In any case, benching them is not as strong a statement as eating their contracts, but with their contracts and Dolan's money problems, there's no way they'd do it. He's probably fuming over Travis Knight's ongoing paycheck as we speak.

I see frank playing these days. Papers are asking when he starts and bashes chaney for not promoting him. Damm, the guy is getting wood these days, thats progress.

FatSpoon is not playing all that much.

Dice by all accounts here written by the extreme knowledgable had Dice coming back in February over the summer, if in fact he was coming back at all.

Give some props to Playa. Without him what would you guys do. He is a persistant buggah, holds his ground and beliefs. Even when he changes it.

The east is so pathetic that even the top teams (Detroit/Indiana/New Orleans) have major deficiencies. The Nets, supposedly the class of the east, are looking incredibly vulnerable right now.

In the playoffs, it would be conceivable to have an upset, two, or three along the way to the finals. The thing is that it wouldn't be building for the future. I can see one LUCKY year and a finals trip, but this certainly won't be repeatable and bring fans back.

I think the goal of the Knicks should be putting together a team that could compete year in and year out. Since we're waaaay over the cap, odds of us signing a major free agent are slim (unless they're willing to take the MLE).

We have some tradable commodities (Mutombo and Thomas are probably worth something to some of the west coast teams looking for sharp elbows and a defensive presence), so if it is true that Lampe as well as Sweets and Vranes are ready to contribute, we should cash in and try to get either picks or younger, more athletic players in return.

The Knicks haven't been good at finding diamonds in the rough since the discovery of Kurt Thomas years ago.

This one reason why Lampe isn't playing now!
