Huh? I would assume that is sarcasm but I can not say for sure. It should be if it is not?

"If you have a superstar or two in your lineup you can "AFFORD" to have Chandler in your lineup"???? You make him sound like he is some sort of albatross and not an up and coming 21 y/o who is putting up really good numbers. Again, I'll say this forever, imagine if Chandler was Nets pick
.
This marginalization and myopia stuff has gotten out of hand.

Uh.... Chandler is a bench warmer at best. The only way this guy is a starter is if you have three all-stars starting. If you think otherwise then you have some sort of a personal agenda attached to accepting Chandler as some sort of a solid NBA player of which he clearly is NOT.

Cry for attention, perhaps?

It's starting to become painfully obvious you have some thing personal against chandler. He is the only player on this squad that plays both sides of the court. He has more blocks then the entire team combine. I would starting just on that alone, and his aggressiveness on offense give's him an edge, which is why he's untouchable come this off season. He can play 3 different positions and guards them effectively especially for a 2nd year player.

D Lee is putrid at times on the defensive end, If he doesn't get better at it' and polish that 12 to 17 footer, he will be living in hotels for the remainder of his nba career, because he will just keep getting traded like tim thomas.

The cry for attention is clearly in your corner, Seb.

Chandler is the third or fourth best player on a 30 win team in the EC.

Where exactly does that place him in the league? WAY DOWN AT THE BOTTOM.

It's just reality. It's not hate. It's not an agenda to hate a young Knick player. It's just the truth. He isn't all that. He isn't even close to what Tayshaun Prince did for the Pistons when he was a rook or 2nd year player. Not even CLOSE.

Yet you read some things on here that have Chandler being our starting shooting guard for the next fifteen years. When I see those analysis I chuckle and then shake my head. Chandler is an 8th man on a competing team. A very very good 8th man don't get me wrong but he is what he is.

If by personal you mean realistic then I guess you're right....

We are a THIRTY WIN TEAM in the pathetic east and guess what?

Lee, Harrington, Nate are all superior talents to Chandler. So at best he is the FOURTH best player on a THIRTY WIN EC TEAM. So please explain to me why I should worship this guy as if he's the next Scottie Pippen? I'm dying to know.

Peak? Nah, I hold out hope he will become more consistent and maybe more efficient. As far as BBall IQ though that is not something you learn as time goes on. You either have it or you don't. He does not. He is dumb as bricks.

Again, he is at best the FOURTH best player on a woeful 30 win EC team! Where does that place him in the league? Way down at the bottom.

I dont know why I'm even engaging you since your opinion is so ridiculous, but, FYI, Chandler's second year is superior to Prince's second year across the board in pretty much every category. Specifically in the scoring dept, as he is averaging four points more.

I honestly dont know what you are trying to accomplish with this, but you are making yourself look REAL dumb.

Oh, I don't know, but I would like to think that 50 wins and an NBA Championship, and being an integral part of such, far outweighs winning 30 odd games on a ****ty team. Maybe it's just me. Yeah, I guess I'm a complete idiot, really bored, and looking to hate on Chandler for no reason whatsoever. Thanks for the wakeup call bud, I needed that.

Im cluess as well to what he's trying to prove. He's saying that a player with a low bb IQ can never get it. Well thats like saying player's never get smarter as they mature.
Im pointing out to cosmic how well he plays on defense but he clearly over looks that fact and say's he's dumb as brick. Most young players have a low IQs coming in, what the heck are talking about.

No, they can't, because they already are what they are. Low BBallIQ players. Will Chandler take the path of Granger and steadily improve over the next four years and become an All-Star? The chance is there and I will not seal the guy's fate. Yet given his IQ I will say it's unlikely that will occur. If it does it's great for us but I am not going to sit here and say that the fourth best player on a 30 win team, who has shown to be very erratic and downright stupid at times, is going to suddenly wake up and lead us to great things.

I honestly thought I was misreading him when he said that we need two superstars to be able to "afford" to have Chandler in the lineup, but this cat is digging in his heels and going full speed with this.

He's one to talk about "IQ's" --- his take is logic defying.

The joke is the fact you can't see the inference in my post.
You just told me that Chandler today is better than Prince at the same age.
You could not be farther from the truth in that statement and that is the point I was making.
Thanks for agreeing.

LOL at talking to each other instead of replying to me. Seems that you can't have a logical intelligent discussion. Enjoy the fantasy world you both live in regarding Chandler. He's an average backup player on any good team. You guys seem to peg him as being a superstar. It's your right as a fan but why fool yourselves then question why we are winning 30 odd games every year with Chandler, Lee, Duhon, Gallo starting? Please don't if that's who we have starting for the forseeable future for it is absolutely certain that crew of players will barely ever sniff the playoffs if they are the top 4 players on the team.

No fool, you said that Prince was far superior to Chandler. That was YOUR initial statement. I simply informed you that their respective stats dont back up your statement and if anything prove the opposite, that Chandler is superior to Prince, and you just keep going with these strawman arguments and ad hominem attacks.

Starting to wonder if there is legitimately something personal going on between you and Chandler. Nothing else you've said even remotely makes sense.

Nobody is saying he is some cotdamn superstar. Its you that's pushing the outlandish statements, carrying on about how dumb of a player he is and that he is essentially a bench warmer with no future.

Then what are you guys saying? I'm saying he is an average bench player on a good team. Please show me where that opinion is wrong. Please don't cite his erratic statistics on a 30 win EC bomb of a team as proof of being a star player.

He is. Prince was a borderline all-star his rookie season on a championship team and played a vital role in bringing the trophy to Detroit.

Chandler is the fourth best player on a horrendous 30 win team.

Personal? I never even met Chandler I value him as much as anyone I have not met. I evaluate him based on his performance of New York Knick. One of which is vastly over rated by some.
