I'm reserving judgment so far. I think the buyout was terrible. Those of us who are single and not homeowners will wind up paying the tab so that homeowners who bought houses they couldn't afford can keep their homes. Why wasn't the bailout also to help people who haven't yet had the opportunity to buy homes? Why push them further away?
But again, that's my initial perception, and it will take a long time to see the long term ramifications. Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Those are the last people the Republicans are concerned about. There is a lot money in the stimulus bill for education and infrastructure programs, which should eventually help the people you're thinking about. |
