i swear to God, Jefferies literally makes me cringe in pain whenever i watch him on the basketball court... when he takes a jumpshot it makes me nauseous, for real... i can barely think of any worse starter in the NBA than Fishlips... he's painful to watch.

SMH at Zeke giving him a five year deal. What was he thinking?

The sad thing is that you should see the thread that was applauding the signing. Not to mention the beat writers giving kudos.

he was coming off a great defensive playoff series. mr. "disruption."

when isiah was asked about the signing, he said, "6-11, 6-11, 6-11."

meaning, of course, channing, eddy and jared. HA!!!!!

Isiah signed both Jared Jeffries and Jerome James because of the performance they had in a playoff series. Not what they had accomplished in their careers, but what they did in a playoff series. For that, he gave them long-term contracts.

from the Post:
Courtney Sims, on his second 10-day contract, made his Knicks debut and was active -- six points, four boards in 11 minutes. Also debuting was Joe Crawford, who was booed after shooting two airballs.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

This should be read repeatedly - if only to fully grasp the absurdity of the reasoning.

Looks like Sims is out (atleast for now) and Sene is in. Knicks didn't resign Sims to a second 10 day contract (with one game left in the season), but it does look like Sene has been signed to a $2,252,400 contract. So now we have a raw big man who can score, rebound and block shots (in the D-league anyway) maybe Sene will see some action tonight and we'll get a look at him. Just wondering if Sene's 1 year deal is for next year or this year (which is now over)?

Whoa...I don't see Walsh signing him to a big money deal just like that. It had to be a pro-rated value for the remainder of THIS season. How many games has Sene been here? three? I haven't paid attention. So whatever "three" games pay is at 2.25M is what Sene was paid to be here THIS season. I can't see it any other way otherwise it would have to be termed a TWO-YEAR deal (like Randolph Morris even though he was here one year and like a week).

Check that, 1 single playoff series each. Jerome played well against a hobbling Brad Miller when the Sonics played the Kings, and Jefferies played good defense against the Cavs. Sheesh. Isiah's decision making was just glorious.
