Wow, if Marbs was 6'4" and played D then would he still be Marbs?

Who's got a serious jumper in college? One guy in the lottery. Harden.

Every GM is counting on Rubio, Evans, Warren, Holiday, Derozan etc to develop a jumper.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Exactly you cant compare Memphis and SLU with talent Hughes carried a team into the tourney by himself and they played in a much tougher conference than the COnference USA is now.

Dionte Christmas is probably 1 of the best shooters in this draft & he's projected as a late 1st rounder or maybe 2nd.

That guy looks like he has the goods from the handful of games I've seen him in. I would think MikeD would be all over that pick if we can buy a late one. A 6'5" lights out shooter would be nice on this team.

The Crawford comparisons are lost on me. If Crawford had the desire to get into the paint like Evans, and defended like Evans, he would be an All-Star and Chicago never would have let him go. I hope his floor is an effective Marty Collins and his ceiling is Michael Ray.

The key with Evans is can he play point, and MikeD can make that decision.

I can't get a read on Teague because all of the games I saw him play were in the second half of this season and he looked terrible in those games.

The Crawford comparisons are WAY WAY off --- we are talking weak ass Jamal with no strength or ability to finish strong at the rim against a man-child beating up on people at the rim as a freshman. Evan's is bigger, faster, stronger, more explosive and more talented than Crawford. Crawford has a sweeter stroke and more dribble moves in his basket. Evan's is a north and south player -- with a GREAT NBA BODY.

Michael Ray Richardson - Steven Jackson kind of combo player -- he can play the point guard.

Not sure if he's a perfect fit there but he can play the point.

Magic Johnson? Did somebody realy make that comp?

I called him a combo of a MINI Magic Johnson and Michael Ray Richardson -- I saw both play their entire careers and I've watched Evan's play about 5-6 times this year. He's not the passer that Magic was (not many are) and he's not as big as Magic - nor is he as pure a point as Magic -- but he takes the ball north and south like Magic and if he grabs a defensive board someone had better get in front of his arss quickly or he's dunking at the other end like Magic.

My point is that he plays an attacking style like Magic, he's big, his size is an advantage at the point because he's not slow and can still get around smaller points while still having the ability to play them on D. Evan's is a special talent and his shooting will only improve.

I'm kind of torn between Evan's and Derozan and I'm also a Drue Holiday fan.

Jrue Holiday's nothing special IMHO... Smush Parker-esque.

I think ESPN's top100 is a more accurate prediction of the draft than any of the draft sites and that's not even what they're trying to do.

Holiday is an interesting player. I wouldn't hate him as a pick.
