your right... he did bring his knees up, but so does every other nba player when theres someone below them...
it did indeed looked like he emphasized the dunk, but it's just the nature of the play... swinging from the rim baseline gives a much more emphasised view as opposed to if he swung from the front of the rim and back.... the contact on the play also contributed to his swing... |

I do think so guys are allowed to get away with it. As pointed out by JW Dwight does hang on the rim alot but since he is viewed as a nice guy, refs turn their head. I thought Al was probably show boating but I just watched the posted video about 5 times and I think Al has a legit beef.

Absolute brutal call. I don't care if he was hanging on the rim or not with 25 seconds left--and it was honestly a marginal infraction if it was an infraction. You don't blow the whistle there.
Al had 38-9--I don't blame anything on Al--without Al we wouldve lost by 15. It was a bad call. RIP Crushalot😞

I'm OK with it. All I can do is thank Al for the ping pong ball, every tech counts towards the lottery right now. I'm hoping for 10 techs a game from the Knicks. The Knicks need to increase every odd possible for the lottery.

Well, this call was absurd, but at least the NBA hasnt snatched away our chances at a chip, and a chance to stick it to Micheal Jordan, when we were arguably playing the best ball in the league and we were absolutely stacked in 1997 --- with a pitiful interpretation of a rule...
Yeah. I'm still hella bitter. This is just par for the course. We stay getting worked. My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.

I think the first time Al was showboating on the Clippers and deserved a tech. However last night it looked like a bogus call.

LOL, that Lebron dunk should have been an automatic T. The league is in terrible shape. I don't even care about the impact on the Knicks perspective but this stuff about officials deciding games is ridculous. That's why you have you Tim Donahgys of the world thinking they can decide games. The only sport where a foul isn't a foul in the last two minutes of a game. Or travel isn't a travel but a "Shrimp dribble" or whatever ridculous excuse someone can come up with to avoid the question of why come you didn't call a travel on a superstar.

Posted by Pharzeone: Good point. When you think of BB highlights you think of dunks, and you never see a guy "posterized" by a good jumper or box out on a rebound, it is always a dunk. I don't play BB video games, but do any of the games licensed by the NBA include post-dunk histrionics that might get a player a T if done in a real game. Nevertheless, Harrington was a fool. No reason to put yourself in a position where your team can be hurt by the whim of a ref. No man is happy without a delusion of some kind. Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Maybe Al can say he was doing a "crab" dunk. Seems to work for Le'Bron.
