Unbelievable. If Al's out now, hopefully this finally signals to MDA that it's time to shut this thing down and start thinking draft. You know it won't though - they're only something like 1.5, 2 games out from the 8th spot and you know MDA will fight to the bitter end to get that last playoff spot. That might be all well and good for MDA (he'll get praise for the fact that he got this rag-tag group into the playoffs) but it's not the right move for this team's future. The draft is what they should be looking forward to, not the playoffs. Build your team first then start thinking playoffs but whatever... I'm sure they have one more completely meaningless 3-4 winning streak in them.

I'll never understand how tanking can be compatible with creating a winning culture. Can't you hear Herm? You play to win the game! The boys should be smelling blood and get hungry! Not lay down because of math. I hope I never get this kind of thinking.
