Nate is popular, but he's not a superstar. Like Nyk4ever said, you reach superstar status, or even goodstar status when your team starts to win.

do you think this game would be on tv if nate didnt jump over dwight in the slamdunk?

Of course that is part of the reason Nate got the Knicks on National TV. Everyone knows that and his play of late has been superstar like. check this out Nate is averaging 26.6 point in the last 14 games with 7, 30+ point games in that span not to mention he had an ankle sprain he has been dealing with recently. In my book as of right now Nate is a superstar. I know its hard for some to fathom that Nate is Superstar because you have seen him play on a regular basis, but he is a superstar, I don't know about you guys but I'm seeing something that you guys might not be seeing. Nate is taking over games, superstars take over games. Don't be blinded by what you have already seen just see him from this point on and you will be surprised what you are seeing right before your eyes.

Okay, so if he is a superstar then shouldn't we hold him to the same standards that we hold other superstars like Patrick and Micheal and Lebron and Wade? If he's a superstar shouldn't I demand him to hold up his end of the bargain and help my team start winning. Not too many "superstars" spend years on lottery teams. Time for this superstar to start leading us to above .500 records.

knicks were 3-10 in feb and so far 3-2 in march....6-12 over the last 18....but hey, we do have a winning record in March bip, so what are you complaining about...hatter

I'm laughing at people who say this is strictly about Nate. Yes, he helped in this decision, but the National Stations desperately need NY back on, and now, even if there is the tiniest evidence that maybe NY is doing better (Like a 2 game winning streak while still on the hunt) then they'll throw them in.

The NBA prays every day that the Knicks become good and so does ESPN and so does TNT.
