Felipe was supposed to be Stephenson when he came in. I remember every year was supposed to be his break out year and he just never did.

I wonder what he would have been if he went to a big time program.

To be fair though, Jason Hart was supposed to be a big time player when he came to Syracuse from LA and ended up having a similar career to Lopez.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Felipe was actually that good at the high school level...his hype was legit cuz he was very good. At College he still was good but he couldn't shoot and started to get insecure...I think he just got it in his head that he really wasnt that good and like I suggested about other NYC player's...he never got in the gym and tried to get better.

I'm hoping Stevenson can do it.

I'm a huge Bigeast fan aswell....Gtown is my fav however. My team played against Felipe one summer and he was a hell of a high school player. He had advantages because he was older and physically more mature than most HS players he went up against. He never really improved his game at St. Johns. He was basically the same player in college as he was in HS. That was his downfall.

Same deal with Hart. He's still the same player in the NBA.

I hope Stephenson brings some buddies with him if he goes to St. John's. It would be great to see them have a revenge year and just go crazy on teams for once.

Yikes, West Virginia is blowing the doors off Notre Dame.

Seems like a long time ago that ND was a top ten team.

How many mid major conferences would ND have won?

I went to school with Felipe and he wasn't ever going to be a big time player. Very soft guy, girl troubles, very soft guy. He didn't have a real love for basketball. Took a lot of classes with Artest and that guy was a class clown but I could tell he loved basketball.

wow, Flynn is putting on an absolute exhibition.

Completely controlling the game.

He's going to be a great backup guard in the league for a team that needs a pure distributor.

Flynn - 19 pts - 11 ast - 1 TO

That's a very nice line for a PG.

Briggs' Huskies just dodged a big bullet. Cuse almost won it on a buzzer beater. But it looks like it was on the kids fingertips.

Damn, Thabeet going all 7 '3 of him stretching down the floor to snatch the loose ball. He is a freak of nature.
