BG is just a GREAT BB player. I dont care where or what he plays. Guy is a player begining and end of story.

I need to know his true height. If he is 6'10 then I would consider the Knicks very lucky if they get the chance to draft him. If he is 6'8'' like a lot of reports are coming out then the Knicks got nothing really to build around. Just another undersized pf. As soon as the pre draft measuremnets come out I will know if Blake will be a super force in the NBA or just another lower tier star player. I know some of you are sold on BG but those couple of inches are the difference between a franchise center and just another undersized pf with good stats.

Vmart--most guys in the NBA listed at 6-9 6-10 are really 6-8. If we talk reality--we have pretty much no chance at this player anyway--it would have to be a real long shot luck out. So if we get the ping pong ball in position1 then we can talk about it--otherwise it's all talk.

I knew this season would end up like this because this has been the script for the last decade. At first everybody was pumped up and like "I don't care about the draft, get me to the playoffs" and all. This has been another lost season and the best the Knicks and Mike D can do is keep competing but finding ways to lose. No reason to try with what's left because really the best that can happen is for us to get a great player in this year's draft. No other way to see it.

We can and must be in playoff mode next season, when we will not have to care about a draft pick and a playoff berth will help the recruiting of free agents. Then will the addition of Hughes and Wilcox (will he still be here?) be important. Not now, I don't care about the playoffs now.

I can see us being worse next year. I think there is a good chance we lose Lee and Nate with inferior one year replacements in the cost cutting gig. I think we lose Nate for nothing but cap space and Lee is going to get a 9-10mm $ offer they will refuse to match

I would let them go BRIGGS, Nate and DLee are having breakout year and the team still sucks. I don't think these guys can help but only in a reserve type role they aren't focal point players. I think if you can turn Nate and Lee into focal point players then the Knicks should take it into consideration, to move them or just let them go. I'm so down on these guys, they don't show up for big games, I don't want the Knicks to spend a penny on these two guys, I consider Lee, Nate Q and Curry from the Isiah regime that knew only how to give up. I want fresh blood in here. I want to start from scratch.

That is why I said If they get a chance to draft him. Its all talk with the Knicks too. They need to stick to the plan which they aren't good at. Everytime they get close to the playoffs they start thinking playoffs. Everyone and their mother knows that the tanking system is part of any good GMs plan this team refuses to use their god given right to tank.

I hope I'm employed after I graduate from college in a couple of months...

Hope 1(a) is that we get Blake though

Just make sure you work hard, get as many connections as you can get and don't mind a bad salary at first if it lets you show your employers that you have what it takes. Even in this economy if you do that you will be working after graduation.

I graduated in May from School of Communication and practically immediately had a job as a multimedia producer and now Im the producer of a reality show. Just work hard and be ready to prove everyone your worth.

Yep, I've been trying. Unfortunately many firms/companies are hiring a lot less this year or not hiring at all. I actually got to final interviews for a couple of very good jobs but I couldn't close the deal (instead of taking the typical 4-5 students, they only took 1 this year). I worked my but off during my internship last summer but the company I worked for just laid off 10% of its corporate staff. They basically told me they will hire me once a position opens up, but who knows when that will happen.

Fortunately, I have some back up plans. Have been applying to other jobs and I'm taking the LSAT in June. Want to go to law school in a year or two and if I don't have a job I like, I will probably just go sooner rather than later.

But oh well, I'm optimistic...should be interesting at least

Good like S3231. Keep your head up and I'm sure you'll find something sooner than later.
