Well, to be fair, Kobe wasn't exactly an angel himself at this point.

True but Shaq is the catalyst for all the forcing out of town crap which led to his own fat ass being forced out of town. Remember when he wanted a 2-year 75M contract? And a few games into pre-season he dunks his first basket late in the 2nd quarter, turns to the crowd and screams "PAY ME" to Buss who was sitting about 15 rows up?

Seriously, he's just another self absorbed idiot.

Nobody has to get along on teams, and even Kobe eventually had his own meltdowns, but Shaq was the prime suspect in it all no doubt about it.

As pointed out in this very thread he's lucky they let his fat ass camp in the lane all game long, let him foul anyone he wants without getting called for it, let him travel, just about everything he needed to succeed.

He's not a bad player, and even if strictly reffed he'd still be dominant, but damn did they EVER let him get away with anything he ever needed!

About a week ago I had some young cat playing against me. Horrible player. I should have been able to dominate him. I never make excuses but......... unfortunately I got to the gym late and my body just wasn't having it. My legs were stiff, it hurt when I jumped. It hurt when I ran. It hurt when I passed. So he's tearing me apart. Scores like 8 of his teams 10 pts. Talks trash to me the whole game. Then on game point Bip sticks a 35 footer to win the game, gets in the guys face, says some wise asse remark. Runs to the water fountain. Strains a muscle and then goes home limping.

I understand Shaq. I hate those damn kids!

In all seriousness, I spoke of myself in the 3rd person because sometimes when I take a jumper my shot is so picture perfect beautiful that I wish I was a spectator watching it, so that I can enjoy it as much as everyone else does.
