Sure, but it's often a balancing act between winning with veterans vs developing youth. If your season is over and the best you can get from the season is lottery placement, doesn't it stand to reason that you play to win but with the youth? Doesn't that serve the most interests at that point in time?


I agree, play the youth, but just don't sit the vets out...

just wanted to say that when crawford came back in the golden state game, they showed a video montage of him and the PA announcer said "once a knick, always a knick...jamal crawford." i heard Mck1 got teary eyed...lip quivering and everything.

my fondest memory of Jamal is him throwing his autographed sneaker into the stands and celebrating win 33 mid court with the Garden fans after a 6 threes 30 something point performance in the last game of his 1st season here that ultimately cost the Knicks the ping pong slot for the 1st pick in the draft that summer.

Even though Isiah claims he would've taken Frye over Paul or Deron or Bogut so I guess in the end its moot.
