is dwight better than Hakeem? Cuz Hakeem used to give Ewing fits.

Maybe ewing was effective in the paremeter, but is that where you want your 7 footer hanging out?

Nate is our go to guy like Ben Gordan is for the Bulls. Except ours is 5"7.

Nate can score when we are down, but can we build leads with him? Sure he can go nuts once in a while, as he has, but we are not winning.

Nate has a role.

I also remember Ewing giving Hakeem problems too. Ewing could play on the outside but he could also play on the inside. And hell no Dwight isn't no Hakeem.

I already seen the Knicks build leads with Nate.

Lee and Nate are both bench players. I'm worried the Knicks will overpay Lee/Nate like they overpaid Allan Houston just because they are fan favorites. That would be a motherfuking disaster.

What's a bench player? I watched the all-star game a couple of weeks ago and I thought half of them were scrubs in most any other era of the NBA that I had to pleasure of watching.

All I gotta say is Ewing would totally destroy Dwight Howard....no question about it.

luc longley used to make ewing look bad.... anyone athletic went right around him and his bad knees.

Please stop it. Luc Longley needed help on double teams to just contain Ewing. Yet Ewing used to routinely drop 30 points on the Bulls even when they allow hand checking in the post.

how will Nate look trying to guard Kobe Bryant the next time the Knicks play the Lakers? it's not a fair comparison to use last night's game as any evidence to determine the Lee vs. Nate, who should we keep debate.

Ewing was so much better than people give him credit for. Just cuz he wasn't better than Hakeem and Shaq and he had freakin Jordan in his way all those years. We also didn't always have the best help for him. Dwight would get his, but Ewing was so much smarter and had so many moves that Howard would not be able to stop him and would probably run into foul trouble against Ewing.

Should we give them away for nothing?? Because thats what might happen. I guess in the name of cap space for a superstar who ain't coming here.

Ewing gets the nod over Howard. Howard is a little better than Ewing was defensively and on the glass but Ewing was so much better offensively. Howard is all about raw power and athleticism rather than skill. I'm too young to remember but I think the closest comparison would be a young Wilt. Now I'm not saying he's Wilt, just that he's able to dominate through sheer force instead of skill, the way someone like Hakeem did.

Not a good comparison by you either TMS. How does anybody in the NBA look guarding Kobe? It's not a fair comparison to use Kobe as a measuring stick for Nate or anyone else for that matter.

Unless you have someone who you'd pick to shutdown Kobe?

& how does anyone shutdown Dwight Howard? didn't u just get done telling me he was gonna get his anyway no matter who we had guarding him? it's the same premise, u don't judge Lee because Dwight Howard had a good game... at least Lee put up another double double & provided some kind of production during the time he was on the floor... what's your boy Jared Jefferies' excuse? oh right, he sucks.

HaHaha!! I never needed Dwight to "judge" Lee on anything. Lee is a good dude that has a Knack for rebounds. Is he a scoring threat without the pick and roll? Not really. That's why he rode the pine last night. Now what's this talk of Jared Jefferies being my boy?
