Definitely agree with you about that. I've felt this way since the board was up in arms over PEJ being cut earlier this year.

You guys really think PEJ is that bad? I think he's a really good glue guy. He plays D, hustles and is a good kid. He also has the athleticism to get better. I'd be fine with having that type of guy on the team.

I agree that White is a headcase but he's been lighting up the D-league

But Conroy I think is a perfect signing- he was Nate's old teammate and plays a pure point.

I never said I wouldn't welcome him on the team, Des. I just believe that the level of outrage on this board was extremely overblown and if his name was NOT Patrick Ewing it would not have come close to the level it was.

would be kinda cool seeing Nate leading the break w/PEJ & White on the wings... whoever's underneath the basket better get outta the way cuz they about to get posterized.

we ain't making no playoffs this year anyways, mine as well be entertained w/some high flying dunks.

Maybe, but IMO it was clearly outrageous that a guy like him was cut for a phenomenally useless player like Roberson

What about Walker Russell, he ran pretty good for us in the summer league averaging 11 dimes a game. Just took another look at his stats he is also averaging almost 4 T.O.s a game. Bummer

I would take PEJ over fishlips right now, at least he can hit an outside shot and go to the basket strong.

Yeah always liked Walker Russell. Fearless and efficient. A little undersized but I really am shocked that with the glut of absolute trash on some NBA rosters that he never got a legit shot to make a team.

He's 100x better than Robersuck that's for certain.

You know, I'm starting to really enjoy watching fishlips harass the hell out of other teams spunky little PG's. Sure frustrates the heck out of them. They can't shoot over him, can't get around him.

Hahn has a different take on Ewing than Berman.

Patrick Ewing Jr. : Has done well, especially lately, in the D-League and it wouldn't hurt to give him a spot on the team as a practice player and end-of-bench towel waver. His athleticism and enthusiasm are good to have around, as is the name on the back of his jersey.
