Equal endorsements? Highly unlikely. Half of NYC would buy Lebron stuff within 3 days of him coming here. There's A LOT of names worth salivating over too, not just Lebron.

OK cool, but that doesn't fix that roster thing. I'm pretty sure he wants to win a championship above all else. That's not happening when he joins that roster. Pretty sure of it.

Does Cleveland have that much of a better roster than NY? I don't think so but more importantly, once Lebron hypothetically comes here and we're then over the cap we can afford spend loads of money to starphuck to get highly paid, aging, but still very good vets like Boston did, much more so than Cleveland can. I think Cleveland in Cleveland he's been shown that he's pretty much stuck with a bunch of mediocre role players. That's all they've ever given him in about 5 years now.

Is it worse than Jared, Curry, Chandler, Gallo and MAYBE Duhon, and a 2009 pick? That's in the eye of the heholder. I don't think LeBron would bolt for our roster for less money though.

If we get rid of Lee and Nate, then yes, yes they do. (we can't keep Duhon, Al, or Timmay and sign LeBron)

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

yes, it is much worse IMO... especially when u consider our pick will be a lottery pick this year & CLE's pick will be a pick in the 30-range... & also when u factor in the added endorsement opportunities that playing in NY would garner him it would make up for any lost money in salary... & we just happen to have a great coach that players love to play for & in who's system their stats jump to career highs on a regular basis... i don't see why Lebron wouldn't wanna seriously consider NY as a place to play in 2010.

Mo Williams, Delonte West, Boobie Gibson, JJ Hickson & a late 1st rounder in 2009 are a better core than Chandler, Gallo, Jefferies, Curry, a 2009 lottery pick & either Duhon or Nate? no way brohamus.

Like I said, that's your opinion. If Curry comes to camp out of shape yet again, and is ineffective (Don't put it past him) and lets say we get the 13th pick this year. You and I both like Chandler and Gallo, but is that enough? I really don't think so. It's our opinions, but to me I don't see how our roster would make LeBron bolt Cleveland, when he loves it there.

2011 is the new 2010. I heart Chris Paul.

didn't he sign an extension that lasted to 2014 this summer? he would definately be number 2 on my list behind bron bron. melo is definately a free agent in 2011, tho.

CP3 signed a 3 year extension this past June so his contract won't be expiring until 2012 at the earliest (he has a player option following the '11-'12 season)

Mo Williams is better than Duhon or Nate, i'll give u that much... counter that w/the fact that Wilson Chandler is hands down a better player than Boobie Gibson... Hickson & Gallo we don't really know which will turn out to be a better player in the long run, but i'd say at the absolute minimum Jefferies & Gallo combined would account for his production... then u factor in an '09 lottery pick compared to a late 1st rounder for CLE, u have to assume we have a better chance at a better player there... & Delonte West is not gonna impact either roster either way, that kinda player u can easily replace w/a fill in roster acquisition... then u factor in all the off the court perks that playing in NY could mean to Lebron's legacy... i ain't saying it's a given that he's coming here, but what i've been hearing from you & some others that it's a 1% chance if even that of him even considering playing in NY is way over the top... i think the chances are way better than that & it's a chance we have to be willing to take cuz players like Lebron come along once in a generation.
