...Will Curry ever play again?...

That seems likely. However, it's just as likely that he'll play like late career Shawn Kemp, optimistically John Wallace, and that will be that. He's worth, what, a quarter of his contract?

Larry Hughes is available....he's not hurt. They just don't have him in the plans....so why not send Qrich and Malik over there for hughes and noah

Why would we trade two bums for two bums? One of which we then have to trade soon again because no way do we want to pay him anything to be the bum he is? (Noah)

Noah: 5.5pts, 6.6rebs = BUM
Hughes: 12pts on 41% shooting = BUM

Malik: BUM
QRich: 11pts on 38% shooting = BUM

Yet, our BUMS collectively expire sooner than Chicago's BUMS one of which who will want to get paid soon which we can't be bothered with, and out of all the BUMS mentioned here QRich is probably the best player, the king of the BUM heap.

While we're at it, let's trade Shandon Anderson for Tariq Abdul Wahad!

Waive Malik after the trade deadline passes and waive QRich after the 2010 deadline passes. Then we don't have to watch Hughes do his best Crawful impression with half the production and we don't have to watch Noah suck and then demand to get paid in 2011. Problem solved.

The Heat get a first round pick too. First round pick, minus Banks contract and they got to gamble on JO who doesn't play the same position of their number 2 pick. I don't think the reasoning behind this trade is that hard to accept.

It's a conditional pick it would seem and it's top 14 protected through 2014. Not a high value asset but not bad either.

Gamble on JO? Anyone taking on JO is risking a big gamble. He can't stay healthy. He hasn't been healthy in 4 years. There is nothing worse than a player you only have for about half the time. We saw the impact such a situation has when Camby and then Allan were in and out of the lineup it was nothing but disruptive at best. Same thing with JO both Indy and TOR looked good when he was healthy and then lost when he was out - started playing well without him - only to be lost again when he returned. It's not good for any team.

Well that's your thinking. Miami when to the conference finals one year, than won a title the next with another center missing 15-25 games a year.

Not saying Jermaine is Shaq, but the difference between talking about the Paces, Raptors and Heat is Wade either. But actually having a center makes more people on the Heat better, than having Marion. So it's really a good move that doesn't hurt 2010(you would happy about that right) and actually gives them a pretty big reward factor.
