Mike Breen pointed out his facial expressions. He always looks like he's about to cry. He plays intense and he plays very hard. What's not to like? The drive and desire to play well is there. He hustles on defense and up and down the floor. He has a passion and love for the game. At his age and experience level, why anyone would trade him is beyond me. He's gonna fill out naturally....he's gonna be good.

he can be a marbury type pg in this system. he will make his fair share of mistakes and he will look like a fool sometimes but he has more potential at the pg spot than duhon.

Why not he would be sick here. It would take time for him to mature into his body but obviously this kid has upside that screams at you. He's like a combination of Marcus Camby and Lamar Odom

BRIGGS,

How much do you think so?

Would you deal Lee for him?

Yes.

What about 10,000 shares of GSIT for him? (I left an OT question for you)

I think what Randolph would represent is a player who can play both ways and have an impact--sure he is raw but anyone can see what he is capable of. Were giving up way too many points

We are giving up way too many points and Randolph can block shots. My only doubt about him is whether he can fill out. Some people can't and I think he's one. If I'm right, that will make it difficult for him at center or power forward. On the other hand, he doesn't have any kind of jump shot, which will make it a disadvantage to have him at the three.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't do it. He brings some nice things to the table and maybe we could live with his weaknesses depending on what it costs to bring him here. Nelson is very down on Randolph, so it makes sense at least to try to start with a lowball offer.

He actually does have a nice midrange jumpshot out to about 18, 19'. No NBA 3 pt. range though. Not yet. I think he could excel playing the 3. I'm all for trading for this kid.

I wouldn't give up much for him - we have too many holes on this team to give up anyone like Nate or Lee.

If we can get in on a 3 way and use some of our expirings, great.

They will never trade us Randolph and if they do--they deserve the backlash for the next ten years.
Pipe dream. Randolph could be the next KG.

Walsh--if you have any ability to trade for Randolph--if they will take David Lee---just do it and dont look back.

Randolph should have stayed in college another year or two and would have benefitted from being on a team with a more structured system.

I have not watched him on a continual basis, but has his game changed at all since he joined GS? He seems to be a perpetual freelancer to me.

I don't see him as another Garnett, The comparisons to T. Prince have always made more sense to me. I am not sure how his frame will handle the added weight and muscle, and I don't think he will ever be the 1/1 defender Garnett is, although his off the ball shot blocking ability is impressive. If he does gain significant weight and muscle, by the way, how will that affect his game, which is now built on speed and quickness? As things stand now, though, I don't see why his offensive game can't surpass that of Garnett.

Garnett, by the way, has emerged as a great player not only because of his basketball and athletic skills, but because of his toughness, heart, and leadership skills, things which have been question marks for Randolph. As far as I know, these are not things he has ever been know for at any level of play.

The grass always seems greener on the other side. I would be cautious about dealing Lee for Randolph. Lee is a proven commodity at this point, and his game seems to improve every year he plays. What has Randolph proven at this point? We don't even know if Randolph can play in any kind of structured offensive or defensive system. If I even thought of such a trade, GS would have to include their # 1 or some young promising player.
