I kind of like that actually. "OK fine, I lost this one, but how about the rest of the games?"

If it's a players league, the players should take the responsibility.

This why you need a 7 footer on the roster. Even if he doesn't play a lot--we need a guy who we can play from time to time who can help clog the lane and throw his body around if nothing else. If we had a 7 footer with long arms and he guarded the rim two nights ago--we win. For older Knick fans--how many times did MJ get to the basket at the end of the game--rarely if ever against the Knicks. he was forced to pull up[unfortunately he made a lot of the} but still I would rather have someone taking jumpshot than a layup!

Isn't that supposed to be Jerome James?

You know I gonna spin wit it

Hmm... Everyone remembers Webber for calling a timeout when Michigan didn't have any left but few remember the guy on the sideline yelling at him to call a timeout. When Webber brought this up, he was greeted with wasn't still your responsiblity to know how many timeouts your team had left.

Oh well, kind of didn't explain why D'Antoni went into a mantra about not wanting to foul because it was a gamble reasoning in his post game and left Jeffries out to dry about the decision to foul saying he left the decision up to him. Replace MDA with Thomas and this would have been a bigger story. Both kinda shaddy actions but people like D'Antoni.

No agenda, just the truth. The only agenda is with those who want to look the other way.

look the other way? dude get over it, guy admitted to making a mistake, move on, he won't be the first nor the last... there is no way to look at it other than that.. what do you want him to do, have his nails pulled out one at a time.. the only reason this would have been a bigger story if it were Isiah is because Isiah was already hated by everyone in NY after years of turmoil.. had this been isiah coaching year 1. people would have moved on already.... for christ sakes....

First, please calm down. I am not insulting your kids am I? Take it easy, people have differing opinions from yours (which I believe you are still allowed to do), so if they don't decide to just "get over it" that's their choice. It's that damn Bill of Rights thing.

You're not saying anything that I didn't already say. My thoughts are not of the mistake but the fact that he left his player out to dry on Sunday instead acknowledging it at the moment that he had a foul to give when the reporter asked him. He had a feel good moment the following day. Who knows maybe he had a private conversation with Jeffries about the matter and came clean after. I already noted that if it was Thomas it would have been worse for similar actions after the fact. Also the only reason why it is a deal with me was because I had posters blasting me for suggesting that D'Antoni was at fault on Sunday. He doesn't walk on water and I realize that he will make mistakes but criticizing other posters for recognizing those mistakes seems to be someone agenda.

I am calm, really I am.. sorry if I came off otherwise..

Last I checked, the NY fans seemed fine with Mike D', besides Islesfan and GallofFame. Then again, most of the NY fans are rooting for Kobe and LeBron and the Celtics.

For now........The fans would turn on D'Antoni in a heartbeat. They would have done the same to Mark Jackson.

I've already turned on him. The only issue is how extract maximum humiliation when he is fired. I've always maintained that, with D'Antoni, he should be "escorted" from the garden by men in white coats, preferably wearing a straight jacket and jabbering incoherently. That would be awesome.

Of course Walsh would have to make the tv late show circuit to tell us first. It's the only respectful way to do things.

If you don't like what MikeD has done so far, then you're not a fan of this team. You're just a hater.

If you don't like the highest draft position possible(while acquiring other draft assets) when you know the team currently constructed as is won't be around in the future then you're not a fan of this team. You're just an Instant Gratifiee

unfor, you can't have it both ways. As a coach, you play the young guys, ask everyone to play hard and try to win. That's all you can ask.

What does that mean? He's a good coach, but we should have kept a crappy coach for an extra year so that we could get better draft position?

The best part is these people WANT to lose. They root for losses. But when we lose they complain and blame D'Antoni for not coaching the right way.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Yeah, Gall, what is the exact recipe for failure that you demand?

Walsh and D'Antoni have already traded or banished our four largest contracts and leading scorers (Marbury, Crawford, Eddy and Zach). What else do you require, that D" coaches the team on how to lose ("okay guys, remember to get an 8 sec violation or dribble the ball off your foot") or that Walsh trades producers with short contracts like Lee, Chandler, Harrington and Duhon, for garbage?

We're already fielding a team of 6th, 7th and 8th men, is that to good for your demands? Should we shut down Lee and Chandler and stunt their development so that we can feature Robeson and Malik? Is that your recipe for failure, or success, or whatever it is you're really out for?

Face it Gall, there is nothing the Knicks can do to satisfy you. You're not here to be satisfied, you're only here to be galled.

MD takes the fall...he should...shows he has his teams back. Good job. Good coach.

Oh and for you playa, someone asked on one of the Newspaper sites, JVG or MD. I take MD but would love JVG to be his defensive coach!
