I think people forget that he's still 20 years old. Dirk wasn't winning games with turnaround jumpshots till he was much older.

I'm saying that AS OF RIGHT NOW, there's no one you'd trust to create their own game winning shot. Although Nate seems to draw triple teams when he drives-- it would be nice if he could kick it out to 1 of the guys standing WIDE open at the 3 point line.

I do think that Danilo will be able to be the closer at the end of games in due time.

Al can't be the number one option because 14.8% Knicks fans will kill themselves if he is given that title

It seems like we're running a more up-tempo version of the Steph/KT team sometimes.

Things have really come full circle.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

The guy is a scorer, and most scorers take bad shots if he were superstar this wouldn't be a topic. We have no super star and we have no true leader, there for we have to improvise and go with what we have. DG will always be sitting behind the arc waiting for a kick out.

Chandler and Gallo are the only go to guys on this team; but they are to young and inexperienced. Nate being the third go to guy but his height factor does play into it, defense can always make Nate take a bad looking shot if they play him straight up. Al just doesn't make anyone better to be a go to guy you can throw three guys at him and he won't spot the open man. In Portland that was a bad shot by Al towards the end when his wild shot went off the backboard. It would have been nice if he pulled up for a nice 10-15 jumper. But he went soft to the hoop and you can't do that especially at the end of games. He needed to attack the basket like Roy.

i don't know. i can't see chandler being that type of guy. i don't see that intesity, attitude or swagger all the time. in gallinari, i see that he is just, like you said, inexperience. however, in a few years, i think he will be clutch, almost like a better version of toni kukoc.

Chandler has already hit big shots for the Knicks this year.

Door is still open for Galo and Chan (but no one knows what they will become as a players) but already closed for Al.
Everybody know who he is and how he plays. This will not gonna change.

This is the dumbest thread on UK right now.....I can't believe some of the things written in here.

Al Harrington has his flaws but the dude isn't afraid to shoot. He isn't afraid to have the ball in crunch time...

All he's ever did since becoming a Knick was bust ass....his first game in a Knick uniform he had a monster game. The guy wants to be here and has been pushing to get here his whole life. Now since the mofo isn't a world class name or someones wet dream he is garbage? He's only leading the team in scoring....that's all.

I think the guy deserves some respect around here.

I really like Al. He seems to have no fear in the crunch and really wants to be the go to guy. He's not afraid to take the big shot and has actually made some big one's this year. That being said I don't really trust him at this point as a go to guy. I am not confident in his decision making down the stretch. Right now he may be the best we have, buthe's not someone I trust
I just hope that people will like me
why cant Al be the go to guy
