Before the draft would you rather have any of these 4 players than Gallinari
Javale Mcgee
Brook Lopez
Anthony Randolph
Jerryd Bayless
Danilo Gallinari was my pick all the way
I realize after the draft that we shouldve gone in a different direction

I wanted Rose, Beasley, Westbrook, Bayless, Randolph, Augustin, Lopez, Speights or McGee. Gallinari wasn't on my radar at all. I laughed at the Knick rumors because I thought that was so far off because of what Donnie said about getting the pick right. Thought those were smokescreen rumors. Oh my.

That's about right--there were to many players available to say I just one that guy and that is it. There wsa no BANG pick there and we hired a fast breaking coach when the draft process was under way. I also agree with you on the BS with picking Gallinari--it's not we support Gallinari now--its I really wanted this guy before the draft because I took a trip to Turkey and saw him drop 30 on Khalid El Amin--none of these people who picked Gallinari in this poll ever watched one of his games.

Briggs: do you need a sarcasm lesson. Some people(myself included) voted for Gallinari just to tick you off. Nobody wants to answer your poll because they are sick of the topic. This is the 80,000 time we discussed this. The only thing that has changed is a little while ago it was Anthony Randolph instead of Lopez

Am I the only one who is confused by this poll? To me this makes as much sense as this:

What do you want for breakfast today?

1: Pancakes
2: Waffles
3: Eggs
4: Cereal
5: Tomorrow I don't wan't breakfast at all.

Where is the heck is the breakfast meat in that option? Bacon, sausage and the asian favorite....Spam.

There's my asian brother. I was thinking the same thing. It's not breakfast without pork products.

Tocino is my personal favorite. Preferably at Jollibee.

after Rose, Beasley, Mayo and Westbrook this draft was a total crapshoot. Every player after that with huge flaws.

Danilo Gallinari was my prediction before the draft... and tho I was hoping we'd take Bayless right before the pick was announced, I was 99% sure it was goijng to be Danilo. There was no way we were going to draft Lopez. Donnie was looking home-run there. Not solid double.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

who says Lopez is a solid double???

Just for comparison:
Channing Frye rookie year: 12pts 6rebs 48% FGs 3.5 FTs a game
Brook Lopez rookie year: 12 pts 8 rebs 50% FGs 2.3 FTs a game

Lopez is playing more minutes... Lopez could just as easily be the next Mikki Moore as a solid NBA center. I wouldnt even say he's as good as Krstic was. Dude's got a long way to go. A couple good games means crap. Nazr had 20/20 games. Frye had games where was dropping 30 and making it look easy. Lets see him get better and better over the next 3-4 years.

Lopez was an average rebounder in college and shot like 47% which is a joke for a physical 7 footer in the pack 10. He's got a loooong way to go before he's anything to write home about.

So does Gallinari for that matter. He's shown flashes and shows a good skill set, a high IQ and he's tough. Lets see what happens next.

Fish you forgot one of your favorite stat lines you like to use during Isiah reign, BLOCKS! 1.92 a game. Once again why must you try to build up Gallinari by trying to degrade the Big Man.
12 points, 8 rebounds, ~2 blocks a game. You like that +/- ****, well how about EFF +15.80.

Before the draft, I wanted Bayless and Love ahead of Gallo. But I liked Gallo. That having been said, we're seeing a rookie who didn't have camp, who was out injured for months and who's playing with a bad back. Give it a rest guys. Comparing Gallinari to these other guys makes no sense at this point.
