Dunleavy has been hitting the weights.

Sounds like something Bonnie would say LOL

YOu know, I thought the same after I sent it. Nothing gets by anybody around here!

Then I thought I said it in plain words as to his athletic build. Had I put it: "Man, freakin Dunleavy is freaking HUGE!!!!", that might be over the top.

But thanks for keeping us all honest.

I thought you died... what, no posting once everyone realized your prophecy that Marbury is The Devil?

Hi Supreme. I'm still lurking about.

The home/work life is such that I'm just not able to watch many games all that closely, and my interest in the NBA in general has waned. Its tough to be a know-it-all when I can't keep up. But more importantly, I got what I asked for: Marbury and Isiah are banished, we have good people in the front office, we're dumping bad contracts and malcontent divas...now it's just time to let things play out and assess over time.

I applauded the Walsh/D'Antoni hirings and predicted 35 wins with the expectation of Zach, Crawford, Curry and Marbury (none of which I cared for) playing significant roles. I still expect us to win about that many, but with all those soul suckers gone I'm slowly regaining my ability to enjoy wins again. With the drama gone, when I watch I watch for basketball sake again, which I'm finding refreshing.

So I'm taking it easy, watching when I can, and sidestepping the longwinded debates over stuff I'm just not that passionate about.

So did I see you say you're in DC now? I know you left Tulane, but I forget where you landed. Done with school for now?

I guess I enjoy writing, so the debate isn't as interesting as it used to be, but that's probably good for enjoyment's sake. But I enjoy figuring out how to express my thoughts on something as opinionated as sports, which has helped me in other facets of life, such as professionally or in my relationships (as effed as they are).

Yep, I finished school. I absolutely loved and enjoyed New Orleans--probably too much--and needed to leave before my enjoyment got me into more trouble than I could handle. My training was for investment banking and, well, I guess you could say that sector doesn't exist anymore, so I've needed to figure out what I'm going to do with my life (again)...

I found an interesting opportunity with a startup that does contract procurement, which I know nothing about, but apparently no one in my company understands finance, nor does anyone at the aerospace company we contract with. So, maybe this God-awful ****ty mess will work itself out.

What's been occupying your time? And what are you doing to stay healthy these days?
