OMG, this Lee stuff is reaching absurd levels. It isn't even a full season and he is better then 20/9 players already?!?!?!?

Lee is a role player??? Can you name the last 'role player' that averaged 17 points and 13 rebounds a game? Do role players rank in the top 2 in double-doubles?

I guess the definition of role player has changed on this board.

U Lee guys seems to have a problem with numbers...Lee averages 15.7 pts 11.5 boards not 17 and 13...Bosh takes 16 shots a game not 17...Bosh averages 10 boards a game not 9...

I would rather have Bosh than Lee, I m not entirely sure how long Lee can keep this up. Remember, as hard as he plays, he too is eyeing a big contract. If you put Bosh and Wade together or Bosh and CP3 in 2012 that in itself can form the core of a really dominant team. Bosh's efficiency rating is still higher than Lee's and I think the difference will grow even larger if you put Bosh under MDA.

Amare on the other hand I may pass on. Remember what MDA says about "selfishness"? And this guy is already shwoing signs of "its all about me".

Bosh team is worse than the knicks and he has a better supporting cast. I think the difference makers are lebron and wade anf then bosh johnson and amare are a notch below. If bosh was so great why cant they win in toronto and that team plays no defense. The knicks need lebron or wade in this class.

You dont have any guarantee of getting two max guys so why not try and get one sign lee and then have money left over for a shot blocker? If none of these free agents come then the knicks mantra will be five more years we will be great and then you might as well be called the clippers. I just want lee to sign here for 5 more years so he can be top ten in scoring and top 5 in rebounding in knicks history lol

I continue to go back and forth on the Lee or Bosh thing in my head but if there's one thing I'm pretty sure about, it's that David Lee will continue to give max. effort even after he signs a contract. Doesn't strike me at all as the type of guy to all of a sudden shut down and coast after he gets paid. That's not David Lee.

Thats the whole problem...His best doesn't make the Knicks competitive..

Bosh scores 23 points and gets 10 rebounds playing next to Jermaine O'Neal! Bosh is much better than Lee.

Jermaine is averaging 13 pts and 7 rebounds. That would put a dent in Lee's numbers.

I just dont see Lebron or Wade coming here because they are dying to play with Lee. Sometimes start value can owrk in your favor for attracting other even bigger stars, Bosh has more start value than Lee. BTW no one ever wins in Toronto.I really have a feeling Lee has already reached his max potential under MDA, and with Bosh there is promise of more.

As DJ said just switch Toronto and NY coaches do you really believe we would be better than them or Lee's numbers would even come close to Bosh's? And even 0.6BPG is better than none, combined with Wade that's over 2.0 BPG

The Knicks did something stupid just like this in 1999 when they overpaid for Allan Houston. I hope they are not dumb enough to settle for a role player like Lee over a franchise talent like Bosh.

Seriously, do you people remember that when Lee played in the front with Zach he was averaging like 10/9??? Lee is definitely a combination of not having anybody on the blocks, being in a contract year and playing in the 7 seconds or less offense. You are Nutts if you think he is any where near Boshes level or a number two to a championship team. Even with Lebron.

I would trade Lee as quickly as possible while his value is high...It's hard for me to pay a player 10 mil per who can't create his own shot or play adequate defense, but that's just me..
