I love it. We're already on to the new flavor of the month.

Sweetney
Williams
Frye
Collins
Balkman
Nate
Chandler
Gallinari

You forgot about Jackie Butler, Matt Carrol, and Jamison Brewer.
Don't worry for Gallo will take the back seat soon enough once we draft our once-in-25-years franchise superstar in June!

Honestly though this is what happens on discussion boards. It doesn't help the players when for whatever reason they look like rising stars for about a month only to fall right back off a cliff. Nate, Harrington, Chandler have all done this to us so it's not so unreasonable to hop on and then off their bandwagons so quickly. Fans like good players and fans turn on players who fall off cliffs. It comes with being such a crappy team for so long.

As to Gallo there's already ridiculous expectations for the kid. Thankfully UK seems to be one of the more rational forums on the web. RealGM has him anointed as the second coming of christ.

Forgot Nichols until we waived him. Jr. will take over probably by the deadline. One minute blowtorch the team, the next we're an 8seed upset team no one wants to play if we make the playoffs. Comical and Tragic fan base simultaneously.

Is it the fan base or is it the team? An inconsistent team leads to inconsistent thoughts about the team, by the fans. I'm sure any other fan base of any other team would react the same. People are people.

I wouldn't react like that. I would react good.

Fans should see the team and look at what's best for the future not changing their emotions from game-to-game. When we were on a losing streak no need to fret at the result the team was nothing more than a 30 win team and close to a waste of time to coach. The team wins 4 of 5 then all of a sudden playoffs are very attainable.... David Lee and Gallo are White On Rice!

Wilson Chandler sat out practice Thursday with a sore left hip and is questionable to play in Friday's game at Madison Square Garden between the Grizzlies and Knicks.

Maybe he has been a little hurt?

I'm a Chandler fan. It's not that I think he's going to be a star. I just like that he does a number of things well - particularly on the defensive side. I think he needs another summer to work on his three - to get his percentage up.

We are playing pretty good these days. Gallo is showing he has some skills and we have reason to hope.

Chandler, Lee and Gallo are three home grown talents that are a WORK IN PROGRESS.

If Lee can keep getting that jumper better he will only get better.

Chandler is still young and learning both the game and how to be a pro. At 21 this profession can be a grind.

Gallo is gonna hit the wall too. Skinny kid, inconsistant sleep, schtupping every chick in NY, injury, and fatigue will all catch up with him.

We win two in a row against decent teams and some can only look for the negative.

Its not all rosey, but this is what rebuilding is all about.

MDA seems to adapt on the run. The dude has the team in the playoff hunt dispite benching his malcontents and trading away his top two loser scorers.

Rebuilding can be fun. This team is watchable and interesting.

They will lose more than win but they are learning. Setbacks are part of the process.

I think they should pump up his trade value and package him w/ Curry to get some picks and maybe an expiring.

Gallo looks like he has more upside.

It's scary how drastically the winds change direction around here.

At least I'm consistent.

To be consistent in hating on everything is easy.
To be consistent in rooting for the team no matter what is hard.

To be consistent for rooting for the team is not difficult, except for the braindead who think tanking for lottery position is a worthwhile occupation. I want them to win by 30 every night. I want the other teams to suffer debilitating brain aneurysms and torn ACL's immediately after they lose. I want all the rings, every time, every year. This is a simple concept. My team, always.

Some may like to consistently point out the negative. Fine, enjoy that sad stability. People that have hope could strike gold someday and be happy. In the mean time, they'll enjoy the positive signs instead of play Grinch on everything.

Sort of like folks like you do/did with Bush. Sort of like I'll be doing 8 years from now with current prez. Worldview is everything. If McPain had won, you'd be sitting here filled with hope and positivity and hearts and flowers? I don't think so.

I'm not sure how many guys on here have not signed the Knicks Loyalty Oath, but those who haven't are disloyal Knick fans. Those who have should not be criticizing the team or its players.

It's called flexibility Jonesy. When things, people are bad, or questionable, they need to be let know and when they do well, then they earned whatever praise they got coming to them. Loyalty is something fools follow. That's why it's better to be a fan.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I think that since the Checketts Grunfeld regime left and Dolan took more control any fan who is not cautious and apprehensive about the moves that have been made is not aware of the situation. Any fan who was not disappointed that Isiah was reassigned and later scouted the Knicks first round pick after he destroyed the franchise's financial future, roster and its professional reputation is a casual fan at best. I questioned the hiring of D'Antoni for many reasons but the main one was that I believe teams need to play great defense to win a championship. I also think championship teams almost always need a great big man (4 or 5). I questioned and still question the drafting of a Euro player with all of the known talent available that could have fit need positions. I have been pleased with the impact D' has had on the team. I think some of it was simply having a plan and no dysfunction but I also think some of it is his philosophy and player management. That being said, it will be a long time before I am not apprehensive about every move this team makes.

Sorry dude but you are SO wrong. My comment on Obama isn't republican/democrat related. I stopped believing in politics and government a long time ago and what happened on that horrible september made my feeling stronger. I believe that any hope placed on any politician is misguided as they don't work for the regular people, but for the bankers and big corporations. This is actually a topic we could be discussing for hours, days, months etc., but lets just leave it in e not having hope for any politician.

Chandler is fourth in the league among sophomore scoring, averaging 14 points, trailing Kevin Durant, Al Thornton and Jeff Green.

"Not playing last year, to play on All-Star Weekend would be an a honor,'' Chandler said. "Even though I've been struggling the last few games, my teammates have a lot to do with (my season), trusting me. ''

Chandler's slump became alarming enough Saturday for D'Antoni to pull him for Al Harrington to start the second half. Chandler went scoreless, missing all three of his shots and committing three turnovers in just 18:43. In the previous four games, Chandler has averaged 4 points, shooting 8 of 25 with 9 turnovers.

Asked about how he'd feel going back to the bench, where he started the season, Chandler said, "(D'Antoni) knows better than me. If he does it, it will be better for the team.''
