You know what? Let them do whatever they want with Marbury. He is really gone, and Im enjoying it. For those who talk about bad publicity or that the franchise can't move on with him in the roster, guess what? The Knicks play in NY, have terrible players and are coming off one of their darkest eras. No matter that happened with Marbury, it was ugly anyway but its slowly getting better, and that's the bottom line.
About him still in the roster and we moving on, let me tell you, we've moved on. Marbury hasn't played a single regular season game for us, is in the last year of his contract and has wisely staid away from the newspapers. The Knicks have won and lost without him, have a good point guard guiding them and have hope in the play of youngsters like Lee, Chandler, Gallinari and Nate.
Its over, whether its now or in the offseaon. The Marbury era is over and I sincerely don't care if they buy him out and he scores 50 on us next day.
Do as you wish, Dolan. Its your money, your business. Just make sure the Knicks keep going on the right direction.
