Because Toronto can trade JO for him and he can actually help them

MIA is said to be concerned about JO's durability... u don't think Harrington & Nate can help MIA? i do... every championship contender needs a deep bench, & those 2 would provide them w/scoring punch when D Wade is off the floor... if JO is healthy then obviously they will go w/him, but that's not a given in this situation.

They want a center and they also want to slide Beasley to the 3 in the starting line-up. Let me ask you do you think Curry is durable?

I think they would take Curry because he fits their need for an inside post game but you're right his durability is the real question. Right now he is carrying too much weight. The Knicks should fire Brittenham. The guy is a complete joke.

if the reports are true about the weight training program the knicks gave Gallinari leading to his injury, then i agree with this sentiment. we have a lot of poorly conditioned players.

the trade i'm proposing is centered around Harrington & Nate... whatever they get out of Curry would be a bonus... they can slide Beasley to the starting 3 role as i pointed out earlier if they made that trade & still have depth on the bench at the 3/4.

i understand they're looking for a C & so are most teams in the NBA... JO carries a $22 million dollar salary for next season so they gotta make sure he's durable before investing in that kinda pricetag, especially when they're not getting anything else as part of the trade... Curry's fat & out of shape, i agree w/u, but he's not the only piece they're getting in my proposal... i'm not saying they can't do any better than this but i am hoping Donnie is at least exploring trade possibilities of this kind w/MIA for Marion... i think he makes a lot of sense for the Knicks.

Knicks should've never phased out Mike Saunders. I think that was an Isiah decision...

Bottomline they are looking for a center and Riley along with Spoelstra are hard Azzz disciplinarians. Without giving them an interior presence who has game shape discipline it ain't happening. Curry would get suspended immediately for not making weight just like Walker and Posey got suspended. Harrington and Nate only forces them to play small, which they don't want to do. 2010 is important to the Heat just as everyone else Curry would mess that up for them.

We should be thinking of ways to make deals no doubt. I think we could have got in on the Bobcat deal

MIA is set up to have the cap space to re-sign D Wade & offer another max FA a contract whether they take on Curry's contract or not... anyway i agree his contract is hard to move but i think if we added Harrington & Nate to the package it's not out of the realm of possibility... just MHO.

i hear u on the Riley disciplinarian thing tho... we probably won't be able to trade Curry til after the season ends if he shows something in the 2nd half this year... just trying to come up w/a few ideas to dump his fat butt.

MDA says that report is garbage while taking a shot at Gallo.

Mike D'Antoni dismissed a report that suggested that rookie Danilo Gallinari's back issues were the result of the Knicks' training methods.

The Knicks' coach also mocked the notion that the 20-year-old had done any kind of extensive iron-pumping. "If you've seen his body," D'Antoni said, "he hasn't been doing any weights."

I don't like to play bad rookies , I like to play good rookies - Mike D'Antoni
