....this just in...in an unprecedented coupe, the Knicks have signed Moses to a mid level exception. Asked if he thought that he is too old to contribute to this team he said 'I've been begating before any of you whippersnappers were born and I'll begat long after your gone'. Asked if he thought that he could contribute right away, Moses responded 'no-one, not even God himself can help this sorry bunch of losers'

This just in.....Walsh steps down and God has agreed to take over as interim GM. Asked how he plans to handle the Marbury situation, God confirmed that Marbury has found him and he is indeed praying for Berman's soul. Asked if he has a Master plan to rebuild the Knicks, God said that they are such a disappointment that he fears the only solution is to flood the earth for 40 days and 40 nights.

Take Stephon Curry out please. Maybe we need shooting, but we need smart ball players, and we desperately need some shotblocking. Replace him with Thabeet, even if he's raw as hell.

Why are you assuming this team should draft by skill ? We should've been drafting the best player available for the past 10 years.

i'd take Derozan or Budinger over Curry... i'm not convinced that Curry will be all that great an NBA player, his physical limitations will catch up to him sooner or later... there ain't no doubt he's a tremendous college player but that doesn't always translate well to the NBA.

If we aren't able to land Harden or Thabeet I would trade down to unload Curry. This draft IS weak.

These are also the top players--you can throw Harden in there

Do you think Dantoni will take Thabeet? I think if we were drafting 13 and Thabeet somehow slid to 13--the Ny Knicks still would do elsewhere. I really do not think they want a prototypical C.

James Harden is the kind of player I like. He plays hard and smart. He's a very good shooter, but has the presence of mind to do the little things that win games.

You think Mike D' is stupid? I guarantee you he'd kill for a shotblocker. Heck, shotblocking ignites the fast break as much as anything. I'm pretty sure he's well aware of that.

I have to add Nick Calathes to this list. The draft is turning out to be loaded with talent at PG and PF

Of the player's mentioned, the guy I like best is Harden. He plays smart and plays a great team game. He hits the important baskets. We need a good 2, who can be a go-to guy in the clutch.

Another guy who isn't talked about much is the Kansas center, Cole Aldrich. He's become a good rebounder, shot blocker type center who gives you some offense as well. Today, he went 6-6 with 10 rebounds and 3 blocks against Colorodo. In his last 6 games, his blocked shots were 3, 6, 4, 3, 2, 3.

I'd like to get Patrick Patterson and one of these really great PG's--go get me another pick

We do need another pick and I hope it is a priority for Walsh.

What do you guys think of this draft? Is it really as weak as many are making it seem?

people always talk about how a draft is deep & isn't deep every year & every year there are guys who surprise that no one ever thought to talk about much before the draft... personally i rank this class as pretty deep in quality talent, but it's always good to have a higher lottery pick to give urself more choices.

I thought Nick Calathes was the most getable passing point the knicks could draft at the start of the season. He is averaging 6 assists in college, which is very good.

Mullens above Thabeet. I'm a Uconn homer all the way but Mullens is proving very quickly what he is and that might be the first pick in the draft. He is really coming on and doing it in Big ten play. He looks much stronger and more fit as the season has gone along.

Let me go further than that--Mullens will be pick 1 in this draft over Griffin if he is the player I watched last night. Looks nothing like the shell of the player from early on this seeason. Much more fit[that is what it is] Powerful huge athletic with strong hands good timing with explosion. What a potential force!
