Let's wait for 2010. I'll have a better idea of who the best player is

I'd take Lebron over Kobe right now and Lebron still has some upside.

Posted by SupremeCommander: for my team, so would i... but like i said there isn't a better big game player in the NBA than Kobe Bryant... until Lebron has proven himself in the postseason like Kobe has, he won't have that same distinction... i'm confident he will someday because he has too much talent not to step up when it counts the most... anyone who thinks the Lakers woulda won those championships w/o Kobe is kidding themselves... he made some damn miraculous shots in big spots to help bring those Laker teams those championships... it wasn't Shaq that got the touches in crunchtime. After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
