37 year old prima donnas who have had micro fracture surgery and are on the decline are not right for teams rebuilding. The bloom is off the rose in this case.

If the Knicks sign a 37 year old point guard who has had micro fracture surgery and whose stats and impact on his team have decreased significantly over the past three years I will have to stop following them and only check to see when the current regime has been replaced or the owner moves on. The Knicks finally do not need a point guard. They also need to have a plan and stick to it. Kidd has a bit of a Messier mystique but he is not that guy and he no longer has that talent.
If they sign him only through next year, then it will be okay. Another expiring is what we need.
