6'10" 260 lbs. w/a long wingspan is undersized?

Pre-draft barefoot height of 6'7.75," I still think that Love will adapt to NBA ball, but you have to wonder about whether his liabilities as a player and athlete will make it difficult for him to excel at either forward position.

If you really look at how the rookies have performed and team needs at this point, Lopez might even have been a better pick than Beasley for the Heat. You can also make a good case for Minny and the Knicks taking Lopez over Love/Mayo and Gallinari (and I really wanted the Knicks to take Gallo at 6), assuming that Lopez is no fluke and his game continues to improve.

Lopez on Miami would give that team an entirely new look and allow certain players to play at their natural positions. Lopez and Jefferson at 5/4 would give Minny two big men who could compete with anyone at those positions. Lopez on the Knicks would give them a center with brains, skills, and inside toughness.

As for Yi- just another example of why you can't give fans too much of a say in all-star voting.

those are fair observations in hindsight, but once again MDA was gonna be coaching this team & he wanted to run an uptempo style based on perimeter shooters & versatile players at the wing positions... Lopez wasn't an ideal fit for what he had in mind to run here & remember we still had both Zach & Curry on the roster who MDA had to figure out how to use in this system as it is... evidence seems to suggest that the Knicks were going after Mayo in a trade, & when that failed they had Westbrook pegged if he fell to them at #6, which didn't happen, so they took the next guy who they thought would be a good fit for the system & that happened to be Gallo... who knows if they made the right choice or not, right now it doesn't look good obviously but 1 season can change all that... he just needs to get healthy before people can judge.

& i still don't buy that he's undersized... scope these pics of him standing next to OJ Mayo last year... he's got bent knees in this pic & shoulder lean at an angle & still he looks to be at least a good 4-5 inches taller than 6'5" Mayo.

or how about this one taken of him standing next to Kevin McHale shortly after the draft... what is McHale, 6'10"? at most he's maybe an inch shorter.
